2005 Audi A6 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Electrical fault that drains the battery during cold weather.
Hi, No model of vehicle or year both would help!
sounds like you need to ensure the back light is never left on before leaving the vehicle. you need to check the tension on the brake light switch or replace the brake light switch normally under the car without full details hard to state where brake switch is located. Please leave me feedback, Malcolm Campbell.

How do I know if my 2005 Audi A6 4.2L Qauttro has a timing belt or timing chain?
Chain. A little trick for finding answers like this: Go to the web site for an auto parts supplier (Rock Auto, Autozone, NAPA, etc.) and look up your car. They will only list parts specific to your year, model and engine/tranny. If neither is listed, it means demand is too low for them to stock it, or it is a dealer only part. Alternatively, call an Audi dealer service dept. and ask for a price on replacing it, or call directly to the parts department. They will tell you which it is and give you a price. Quattros are a solid ride. Miss ours. Happy motoring!

Sometimes when moving off there is a vibration in transmission
hello, what is the mileage on your audi? has it had a very hard life? the most common faults that we see in our workshops are- drive shaft inner velocity joint's.have your vehicle inspected visually, get the wheel balancing done, also swop the front 2 wheels and tyres for the rears (provided that you don't have staggered sizes, ie; larger as opposed to same size) hope that helps, cheers.
