Have the vehicle checked for more trouble codes. P1221 means throttle position sensor (TPS) out of range. This could be a loose connection or a bad sensor.Either way, not a difficult repair at all.

Disconnect your battery and replace the PCM with one that doesn't have a security function. Do not buy this from Auto Zone, you will regret it!

Unlock the truck from the outside or press unlock on the key fob repeatedly. Does the security light come on when you drive it?

why ask this with not one of the 100 A/T issues with it? TCC lockup failing? or will not shift to 2nd? what are you doing, forgot to say ,did you? my wild guess is , you are bleeding brakes???? it takes a special scan tool to do that. called DRB. lets now read the manual. the FSM and read page 34 under brakes, on the ZJ if bleeding the system. READ PAGE 38 so no DRB? id google all day to see if some other tool does this procedures. i hope you get lucky. the step cycles the motor and solenoids, not just the motor.

Do you have auto tranny? Check code number again do not have a 39 code but do have a 37 code and a 41 code

if he level is good the sensor is dirty or bad or the wires fell off are you sure its level alert and not low pressure. the operators guide tells you this, lost that? get one. low oil pressure is bad news check it with real gauges. at the sender ,port , not guess.

unbolt it , on some cars it snaps off. why is this not obvious>?? you look and you see what>? by remove , i assumed its being replaced or tested. not remove for ever, that be a whole endless topic ......????

Is there a sunroof? If there is the drains can become plugged on one side and overflow down the headliner onto the floor. There is also a drain for the A/C on the passenger side that may be plugged allowing water to overflow into the interior. The best way to find leaks is to run a hose on the car and have someone on the inside looking for the leak
