I'm having the same issue with my 2006 IS250. I will be taking it to the dealer to get it checked out next week.

Sometimes you can find a used ECU at a wrecking yard. If they have the ECU, they probably have everything you need. Not sure why you would need a new immobilizer or cluster. replace the ECU ( ECM ) with another unit you will need to get one from another exact same vehicle and there should not be any other problems other than the immobilizer which you can get reprogrammed or have the keys reprogrammed to the ECM The unit getting hot and draining the battery indicates that it has failed and has to be replaced Wreckers / junk yards that dismantle your make of vehicle will have comparable units st a reasonable price ( probably an arm but you will keep your leg) or there are companies that can recondition your existing unit or sell you an service exchange unit for around 2/3 the price of a new genuine unit

check air pressure first in tires but sometimes the vehicle has to cycle thru to reset --or can go and have trouble code read--recommended-- most auto stores offer this service for free to make sure their is actually no problem and they can clear codes as well

remove front wheels and check brake pads. If too thin, VSC will automatically turn off due to brake issues.
