Engine cuts out at idle speed
hot engine or cold engine or both , 180f is HOT.no year stated. "The Suzuki Swift began in 1985' and ended in 2001 here.(usa= hear,and is usa forum)but not else where.and had many engine choices world wide.sold world wide, so where is yours.be the first ever to say country and engine size in one post... shock us with that? please.stalls you mean stalls right,?not misfires and stallsor misfires and rpm drops below 800 hot.misfire can happen under all engine loads or speedsand even idle, so are you saying it only acts odd at hot idle?misfire has over 50 causeI an find it in 1 to 10 tests, using tools.got tools or just want a wild guess.?wild1:ever get a full 60k mile tune up this decade.per the operators guide list covering SAME.most drivers ,drive till it stalls. is that you?
Fuel guage works but no fuel lights come on
no year car, nor in what country, nor tank sizes.. ouch.the early warning light comes on at very low fuel.so you use that to fill up?, it's not for that, its only for those, that forget ? (city drivers?)never used 100 miles from a station. oops....on our cars, it comes on near 1/8 of tank or less. USA (varies by engine class unstated by you.)First off, the sender is very very crude device, ever see one>? (a spindle of wire forming a rheostat, like in year 1900, brutal simple) and the is set to 0.2 x gallons, full.(on some)so 10 gallons would be 2 gallons left. but like i said its very crude, .The PCM just watches the voltage there,and is hard coded to turn the lamp on , at low level. (not precision)it's only there for folks that forget.if it is dead, the lamp is just burned out. period. replace lamp.. (key on self lamp self test show that lamp works?)some swift books show, 7.5Liter of fuel, lamps on.but be aware of 2 more factsthat pump is fuel cooled and fuel lubricated.so why GO THERE ? and risk burning up a fully good pump. and a $500 repair bill.keep it above 1/4 at all times and WIN, I promise !gas here is $1.63 a gal.. cheap enough to burn....LOL
Eps light is on
First thing to eliminate is a weak battery. Have it checked because if the battery is failing to hold charge or is down on power it will trigger the EPS light on your Swift. ( Many vehicle batteries will only last 3-4 years before giving trouble). If in doubt replace the battery with a new one.
Otherwise, if the light remains on, you will need to have the vehicle scanned to see what fault codes the engine's computer is generating and take it from there. With the EPS warning displayed, there will be fault codes generated.
How can I get immobilizer code?
well gee, no symptoms posted. nor year swift nor country..
gee 2, do both fobs fail? (car came with 2, so..... )
did you scan it to see the DTC errors? only if both fobs failed.
(scan tools all work, and can be rented with dead car)
there is no code, sorry, it's not a radio./ nav sys.
asked now 1000 times.

2011 swift 1.5 no injector pulse no spark
blown fuse. ; is first, as per always.
2nd is scan it, did you scan it yet? that is always 2nd.
all efi engines, all ECU , all cut injectors for (noid lamp test dead?)
you said pulse,does that mean fuel pulse or electronic pulse to injector coil..... ? all injectors dead. or just 1. same for spark.
toss coin land, noid dead. all noids

4: ecu bad, is CEL lamp dead key on? scan it.

Hi I have broken
hi there if your key has broken in the barrel you might be able to get it out with a strong magnet or a pin if not you will have to take the barrel out and strip it down if its broken at the **** of the key you may only need that peice and take it to timpsons they can cut you a new one. If the key is broken further towards the tip you will need both parts and a key cutter will still be able to cut you a new one hope this was a wee bit of help to you
When stalled car will not start again for some time and battery seems dead. What is this?
that is because it is dead?
that key dead thing is called NO CRANK, not no start.
no car starts unless cranked, or push started or gravity started,
so its a NO Crank issue,
and the stalls, well if the battery drops below 10v the EFI system
stop working just like your lap top does, or CEL phone
and for same reasons.
most folks do a jumper cable crank next. like the AAA tow truck man does first, and for good reasons.
this proves what is wrong,
1: battery was dead (car cranks now)
2: starter dead. or key line dead, if not. cranking now.
my guess is its #1
if battery was dead, then it is
- bad battery.
- only discharged, so why not charge it?
- or phantom drains, (over night parking battery dies)
- or alternator is dead, (chargelight glowing? test alt.
How do i check oil level in gearbox of suzuki swift 2009
Gearbox oil can't be checked because it is sealed and needs to be drained out and checked for metal parts if there is damage to the gears. Take your vehicle to an authorised service centre if you suspect it is the gear box. Humming noise may be something else- like less engine oil or a defective AC intake (blocked tray) or some loose vibration.
How to find dome light fuse

on most SUZ its by left drivers knee, fuse box. marked DOME.
Windscreen washer blocked
it's just a tiny pump motor, hose and nozzle
simple to a fault.
- is it ice frozen,. use the correct fluid and that ends.
- does pump spin, make noise, (no = fuse blown)
- are the water lines free not clogged. ? test them.
- is the nozzles clogged/?
- is the check valve , not clogged, (in line)

ok, the first post of Reservoir, (at firewall, and is a master cylinder)

that means the Stick shifted car , the master or slave are bad.
me, i replace both with new and fill and bleed it per book.
that way Im not stranded or doing job twice (your call that)
btw, the one that leaks is bad. ! "look first"
if the MC is dry , at both sides of the fire wall (paint blistering there)
then the slave is bad.
(slave drips to high way road unseen by you, so...._

what is a wet clutch?,. the A/T torque converter
the inside transmission wet, clutch packs
or the stick shifting master cylinder and slave
why not post year, swift, and what system you are working.
eg: my car wont move, got that.
my RPM tachometer races fast, but car wont go (called slip)
or my clutch pedal seems dead.
or my A/T CAR., transmission is no working right, say what?
we cant guess any of that.
