I believe it's one of your relays too. There are a few relays under the glove box. If you can determine which one is clicking you can change it out and possibly solve your problem. Good luck...

Most likely with a vehicle of that age, the float assembly (fuel level sensor) in the gas tank has failed or has become disconnected (possibly lost ground connection). It is also possible that the gauge itself has failed.

It won't crank? Have you tried rapping the starter with a hammer-a light tap- to see if it will work? If that works, the starter is going out and needs replaced. Alternatively, take the starter off and have it tested for free at a parts store.

While you were filling the tank you may have disconnected the pump wires. If you can hear the pump activating when you use the switch then the pump may have gotten clogged , check for sediment in the tank.  For the person with the mustang - if its only coming out of one side then its a nozzle clogged or a pinched hose.

Being a 94, it's probably a speed sensor. Newer ones are in the transfer case.

check brakes or handbrake are not binding. especially if the car has been sitting for a long time with the handbrake on, you release the brake lever but the sytem can still be on, after driving for a while with little braking like on a main road or freeway stop in a safe place and check your wheels with some water to see if there is steam from the brakes this means they have been binding and overheating. for handbrake drum this maybe under the car and not on the wheels. so that has to checked too to see if it hot if so the break is stuck on. i would go to a garage and have this fixed as the break pads may need replacement if they have been overheating, to ensure they work properly once break systems is fixed. Old and tired transmission. Clutches could be burnt. Does the fluid smell burnt? Could be other things, but most likely it's due for a rebuild.

most likely is the down switch or loose connection at the down switch.

Not bleed properly or you have a rusted out line (leak) There is NO Procedure-- that when driving a vehicle or bleeding brakes,do you ever pump them

Remove the negative battery terminal from the battery, count to 10 and put it back on. If that doesn't work, then try it with the positive terminal. That resets the computer. Of course this is assuming that you have already checked the fuses.

Whatever you doo don't pull them by the wire as it will pull out . If they don't turn easily on the plug try spraying some wd40 down near the end and then use a bent screwdriver to pull the boot up . Try working from the end of the boot as pulling from the end where the wire goes in could cause the boot to split in half .

just alarm or skim, (engine immobilizer) did you google that , yet. skim bypass, is possible only on the most old. jeeps. newer once are impossible or very expensive to do. $100's if possilbe. search posts for (google) early 90s. lots of guesses. sure.. common here. first would be a real tuneup , using the 60,000 mile list. for sure. filters and spark parts. (my guess is you did) 1994 is a great year, all 93+ jeeps are good from 93 to now. I presume this is USA car, and you scan it and there are no DTC errors.???? seems its flooding , if 5% throttle makes it start, that is lack of air or flooding if wont start and the super secret WOT crankings clear flood , then was flooded, Wide open throttle cranking , cuts all fuel (the secret) so is , IAC/ISC stuck closed, chean it yet. or injector leaks (pass the injector leak down test ,does it?0 got 500k miles o jeeps from 88 to 99+ and the ISC stick on them all. the ISC is the electric, ldle speed control valve. if it sticks closed, you cant get full air supply to start. had to clean mine every 10 to 20k, miles. until i found the magic, spray that cured that. "klondike gun lube spray": looks like teflon after it dries. that run rough started is called misfire. and is flooding, (if injector are not leaking) its air supply wrong. one more thing, the ECT must read 30F when parked overnight, and was 30f. see? a cold engine will be near ambient air, first thing, in the morning. running old fueL:? running summer fuel from last August? the ECT sensor causes injections to match true temps. make sure it reads right for all bets off. clean ISC first. not shot gun parts for that cash you could have got a nice scan tool. like this. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Equus-3140-Innova-Diagnostic-Code-Scanner/14644660 the prefect tool for 93-95 jeeps. does OBD1 on JEEPS !!!!

XJ 94 its not bad, wana bet? 90% are not. (i used to fix them) so the PCM,. the FSM book covers that. why not read that. JEEPJX PCM is baD ONLY WHEN inputs good, and its outputs are bad. (and outputs not shorted) !!! the engine coolant is low. cold engine,rad neck filler (cap off) must be full.

610 Cold cranking Amps (760 cranking Amps) ***. 90 Reserve minutes

Does it crank at all? If not, its a bad starter motor. It will only work when cold. The starter heats up and stops working. Let it sit for an hour and works again.
