When i clutch down at high speed the pedal stays down on my impressa
Hi i would check a few things, check the return spring on the gearbox is still there and not gone, check there isnt air in the clutch system by bleeding it, check there is correct fluid in the system if you havent already, and last if problem persists change the slave cylinder on the side of the gearbox
My trunk won't open
hi some models do have fold down seats, but if yours does you would know, if you have to get into the boot to manually open the lock remove the lower back seat by 2bolts near floor level, then the upper seat by 2 or 3 bolts that will now be exposed, then simply lift out
Factory Stereo removal
not sure on type of tool required but its either a U of wire either side or two longish thin screwdrivers or knitting needles ,the other type is like a flat bar ,if your not sure ask a local druggie they seem to be able to get them out in seconds
Where is the fuel pump
hi the fuel pump fuse is under the bonnet in the fuse holder, its the big green pair not the usual small ones, the relays are under the drivers footwell at the front of the car
99 subaru imprexa oil leak
Leaks can be deceving try to ;look higher up to see if it could be coming from some where else. It is hard to tell without having the vehicle in front of me . Just a suggestion
I recently purchased a 1999 subaru impreza
The actuators move the locking assembly forward and backward to lock and unlock the doors.If the actuators are stuck or only moving in one direction, then door will not get unlock but get locked or vice- versa.The actors needs to be checked.Take a screwdriver and remove all of the screws that secure the panel to the door and pry the panel off of the door. Once removed locate and examine the wires that go to the actuators. If they are damaged or broken that is your problem and you may just need to replace the damaged wire. Also look for broken or disconnected rods.If the wires checked out, ok, then manually try to lock/ unlock the doors.If it gets working that way by key, then its faulty actuator causing the problem.--------
