Is there any problems with removing the rear driveshaft on a Subaru Baja ?

If it is bolted to the transfer case, then no problems. If it sticks inside the case. You can't remove it. Fluid will drain from the case And eventually lock up.

How do you remove retainers in glovebox

Unfortunately, This is all the service manual shows. Along with the words, "Remove retainers"... But you do have to pull them out from the inside of the glove box. Flat head screw driver usually works for me. 41_sb05baja_ei-034a.png&width=448&height=276&displaytype=display&imgrotation=&links=
