Check all of your hoses. Also check the inside of the car underneath the dash to see if it is wet. It could be the heater core has a broken seal and is leaking. Also put soapy water (dish washing detergent) on the hose connection points. If it bubbles they are leaking.

Pull out your leads for the car. Two should do the trick so it won't start.

Fuel pump may be broken. Usually located underneath the rear seat on most cars i have worked on before Also your timing belt may be stuffed.

I would have to say yes its a alarm system issue if they replaced all the ignition it might be a ecm issue that needs reprogramed

take plug out of cyilder, but plug on wire rest on car block have freind crank car. usally see spark or buy spark plug sprk tester

timing is non adjustabe so its not a timing issue. Backfiring is most likley a ignition module or fuel pump issue. spray brake cleaner to see if it will start or use quick start. If it does start then you have a failed fuel pump. If it does not start then you have an ignition issue which could be one of several parts and will need to be diagnosed to know which one.

If you have oil on the plug but not actually in the cylinder, the tube seal for the valve cover could be leaking.
