check the fuel pump relay, under the driver's side dash, to check for correct function. It's #18 in the diagram.
If that checks out, check the fuel filter, maybe change the filter. One more thing you can do is check the function of the fuel injector resister (see below), located on the firewall driver's side of the engine compartment.
The last thing to check is if you are getting a spark at the spark plugs, have someone (or use a remote button) start the car while you are holding with a pair of long-handled pliers the left most spark plug cable (#1) metal contact against the valve cover. If there ain't no spark, THAT's you're problem. Then you should check the distributor, and also the car computer, located underneath the floor plate on the passenger side inside the car (pull back the carpet to reveal the floor plate). At this point you really should have at least a Haynes repair manual of your year car.
