I just bought a 2004 Acura TL. Regular gas use?

Some cars actually require higher octane, if the manufacturer suggest higher octane for maximum effenciency your best advised to do so.

How do you input radio code on acura tl 2004 if it

Look for the code on the outer left side of the glove box, top number is the code, the bottom number is the serial. Just saved you some time and money. Now if you could explain how to get the radio to prompt code entry instead of error. Tried removing fuse under the hood and disconnecting the battery terminal to prompt code entry, to no avail.

2004 tl acura radio reset code - if number on glove box higher than preset numbers what do I do

The numbers on the radio screen after pressing 1 & 6 are the serial number to retrieve the radio code! The 4 digit number on the glovebox is probably the radio code, keep pressing preset number 1 until the first number is on the screen, then press preset number 2 until the second number is on the screen, then press preset number 3 until the third number is on the screen, then press preset number 4 until the fourth number is on the screen!

there should be a belt diagram from a label either on underside of hood or on radiator support. That should help if you can do it yourself.

Front brakes engaged while driving

the problem will be in the master cylinder compensating port blocked disc brakes do not have return valves or residual line pressure like drum brakes if at any time the heated brake fluid is not allowed to expand back into the reservoir it expands and pushes the disc brakes harder on catch 22 situation dragging pads generate heat , fluid expands and presses the pads on harder = more heat =more pressure the rotors have to be running true ( no wobbles) wheel bearings have to be correctly adjusted or replaced and the calliper body has to move freely on the mounting pins to allow for self centering action instead of the mechanic go to an accredited brake professional shop and have a proper diagnosis and quote done

Axle on drivers side won't snap into place over the little c clip

pack the channel the ring sits in with grease. The grease will help hold the clip centered on the axle. You don't need a lot just enough to keep the ring from moving. Then slide the axle into place using a rubber mallet to gently "convince" the axle into place. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa

Car won't start sometimes, changed battery, it's like the car doesn't know it's in park to start

When the anti theft system was created, the dealers forgot to tell the new car buyers about how much the fob matters to the vehicle, without it,owners are stuck, your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your car dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.if you lost your fob or never had it,whatever, you need to have the exact fob that came with that car from the factory, the key and fob have a chip in them that only go to that certain car,if you do not have it,then you need to buy a new one from the dealer or ebay and then you need to contact your dealer about programming the fob to your car,you might not have to have it towed if they have the documents from the car,the only other way is to get a junk car, with the steering column, key, fob and all computer boxes and door locks and switch them,i just did that with a 98 dodge dakota, and it works....

What does the sevice code B5 mean on an acura tl?

B is an oil and filter change, with visual inspection under the car. 5 is a coolant change. If you had your timing belt done in the last few years, they probably replaced your water pump and coolant, so it would still be good. Most coolants, including Acura's, are good for 5 years. (the original coolant that came with your car was good for 10 years)
