Your system is either out of sync on the control, or the air temperature control blend door is not moving due a failure of the door or its actuator motor.

THAT would not make any sense at all. The programmable key would not cause this. Since the key cranks the engine, and it does, because your driving it when the problem happens, then that part is working. That program is ONLY to get the engine to crank in the first place. THAT is not even on the table. It has to be some other sensor or something causing this. Have it checked to find the code of the problem.

only clickin i can think of that would make idling erratic is the timing has become out. and the pistons are hitting the valves. this would click or tap and eventually go bang. would not recommend reving or driving it till the timing has been checked.

Sounds like the CD driver is bad.

Could be a bent clip. It has to come off. Get as close as you can to the top clip and pull it loose. You don't want o break the bezel, so one of two things will happen. The clip will bend and come out, or the plastic tab holding the clip will break. Neither is that bad. it will still hold close with the other clips. Breaking the bezel is far worse.

Electronic Stability Program (ESP) you "should" be ok but it probably won't be able to save you from crazy driving, so drive cautiously.

Have you tried to pull the battery for 15 mins and reset the whole car? You'll need the security code for the deck after connecting the battery. It's usually in the owner's manual...

Sorry this may not help but I've noticed other electrical oddities too. Like every once in a while there's this snap through the factory stereo over the speakers. Seems to be related to brake pedal use and replaced the brake switch but no dice.

ther isnt usually a drain plug on trannys. becuz when u change the fluid they want u 2 change the filter. so u hav2 take the 10 orso bolts out of the pan. that way u change the filter 2. if u dnt change the filter u mayas well not change the fluid

if you dont have a tester, then by removing each fuse, 1 at a time, checking its intact, replace and move onto next, if you look inside fusebox lid, normally a diagram, might help if you posted what is not working ?

this is normal you have to recharge the capacitor before it will kick in.

charge the battery. so that wnen rested it reads 12.6vdc. then it will start. also check all fuses in both fuse boxes. they might have tried hot wiring things (like on TV) and blew fuses. the battery is first. no power, all toys and EFI go , dumb.

i turn on what light the head light switch. most cars have a dome light feature for turning on the dome. see the operators guide. the dome turns on 3 ways (more) any door open (each door has a jam switch to do that) the lamp itself side of it switch on. (and a defeat switch , on most) the dash lamp switch to do it from drivers seat.
