Which way do you turn the crankshaft pulley bolt to loosen it?
It turns left (counterclockwise) to remove. An impact wrench is best if you can get one on it.
If you don't use an impact wrench, you may need to somehow keep the crank from turning when you loosen the bolt.
One way is to pull the belt tighter to put more tension on the crank pulley.
There are other creative ways I've used. If you have any trouble let me know.
Why won't my van start or spark/turnover
You probably need a new battery. There is not enough capacity to turn the starter (which draws a lot of current); low current-drawing accessories (lights, radio, horn) will still work until the battery is flat out dead.
03 Honda oddyssey ...Help I've been having turn signal issues and hazard issues for a long time!
Have you tried to reset the CPU system in the car
.take off your negative cable and turn your head lights on for about 10 to 20 minutes this will insure your CPU system is drained of it's back up power.it does hold charge after your car is disconnected from the battery...please be sure to reprogram your key ?? in your system this will reset all settings....and the computer will need to re learn your key codes
Start your car after you reprogram your key drive around for about 30 min to let the car reprogram all your cars functions.... it'll take about 30 min so put a battery cables or a power source to your battery to make sure it don't die...also look up the key reprogram ignition key reprograming system theft deterrent will come on....this is the only thing I can think of if your car ain't doing what you need it to be doing...hope this helps it's a big mission but it's better then paying 1000s of dollars...
Hi, I have a problem
The fuel pump relay is up underneath the drivers side dash next to the steering column. Also check the fuel pump fuse 15A (labeled No. 1 in the drivers footwell kick panel), ACGS fuse 15A located in engine compartment fuse block, IG MAIN 50A also in engine compartment. All these fuses have an impact on the fuel pump relay.
The engine does not start on hot weather. it start
Engine main relay. Were talking crank no start correct!
If you were to start car coldlet it run for 10 min. then restart say in 5 min anytime of day will it restart. If answer is no then its the main relay. Contact on the relay are worn and seperate when they are hot.

The best solution you'll get from books at
www.reliable-store.com
These are books containing info on repair, service, troubleshooting, parts info, assem bling dissemble, removal, error/fault codes, wiring diagrams and everything on any vehicle- cars, atv, trucks. forklifts, boats, excavators etc.
Dash lights or navigation light do not come on
first check that the dash light dimmer knob is not turned to very dim (far left). It is located in the dash instrument cluster slightly left of center between the tachometer and speedometer near the bottom edge.
If that seems okay, check out the No. 13 fuse in the passenger's side under dash fuse box.
If the fuse is okay, you may have problem with the driver's multiplex control unit. This unit controls lighting for multiple other lights and switch indicating lights.
Can I retrieve the radio code with the Odyssey vin number? The code is not in the glove. I do not have the manual.
No, the stereo unlock code cannot be retrieved with the VIN.
You can get the unlock code for free from any Honda Dealer. You will need to give them the stereo serial number from the back of the stereo or written on a card (or possibly the manual) provided when the vehicle was new. If the dealer removes the stereo to retrieve the serial number they will charge around $100.
DANGER: Do not try to enter the code randomly! The stereo will lock out after 10 incorrect attempts.
Shaking at low speed (25-30 mph)
