Left side of the steering column. Remove the kick panel, the knee panel, and a metal plate covering the steering column you will find the turn signal flasher relay well hidden, mounted with a clip on the back side of the left non-removable knee panel, behind the lip edge of the panel, hope you have a good flashlight, it is black and can not be seen if you do not know that it is there.

The EGR valve is usually on the left side, round and is held on with 2 half inch bolts. Either has a vaccum line or a 2 prong plug going to it.

Yes, unfortunately it sounds like you have a blown head gasket. You can check your oil dipstick to see if there is any water in the oil and also check your coolant to see if there is any oil in the coolant. If so then you have a blown head gasket. The problem can only be resolved by having the heads machined and replacing the gaskets.

I have the same problem i found out that it is my cruis control has a leak in the hose and if you just disconect it you will no longer have cruis control but it should stop the problem

I would hope not, that would be terrible engineering. Should be able to drop it. Autozone has free repair manuals online.
