Honda civic pro 94 upper stop light isnt working while lights on

When you checked the fuses, did you check them for continuity or did you check them by eye to see if they were blown? Use a continuity tester that's equipped with a tone alert; this way you don't have to pull the fuses out of the panel- just take the probes and test them while they're in place and listen for a tone. No tone, bad fuse- replace it. Check the brake pedal's relay too. If everything checks okay, replace the bulb.

Rear brakes

If the emergency brake is built into the caliper this is something that will require special tools and knowledge to do it correctly. You wont save that much. Some shops will do a "pad slap" for cheap. If it isn't and I am sorry as I don't remember, then no, you will not need any special tools besides some metric wrenches/sockets, a "c" clamp for compressing the calipers. once again, you would be better off finding a shop that will do a "pad slap" as the time you spend isn't worth the labor you'll save... but you want a step by step, you tube has multiple videos pertaining to this subject and you can imagine how much typing would need to be done to explain what a 10 minute video will tell you

Car won't start

why ignore the CEL?????? you cross over the spark wires. lost firing order. its not PVC but is due. sure, lost spark, lost spark time, crossed wire. if spark is good try test fuel clean the EGR, if it sticks open car will never idle fast. and will stall. clean the ISC do the ECU can in fact now control idle. you are are on track, most here are not. you did a tune up, that is good , and is first. bad fuel, car parked for year, dead? now the 1 question, (after it runs) can your happy right off save the stall only this counts..... 1st.... check firing order now that wires are scrambled. then check for spark on all 4 cyl spark wire ends. then if spark is good, and compression, good, 150 not 80psi you do know this is and inteference engine right? and if not fresh timing belt the engine will grenade. for sure. dont listen to dorks telling you, mine didnt, they are idiots. if you like Russian roulette ? and $3000 new motors are joy? then skip the belt. that finishes off a 60k turn up, spark , filters and da belt. then spark timing. then fueling. all the fuel in the world is useless on a dead motor or dead spark'. fueling is last. if motor and spark are good, then yes, fueling try test fuel (spary) if that works for duration of spray then check fuel pressure that be next. and more... ask

How to fix asm emission test failure hc( ppm) max 61 gp 274 meas 690 at 15 mph, at 25 mph max 36 gp 224 meas 804

this is easy,, it can be 1 or 2 problems.1: CAT is dead or weak, new cats can in fact hide a crappy engine.2: bad engine. runs like junk and does not burn all its fuel.any good shop can find this is minutes.what I DO (no 5gas mach)i check for (scan tool costing me $9 whole bucks) ask)i check for closed loop status, idlingif ok then at 15mph and then 25mph , just racing motor in neutral.if all 3 tests pass, im good.if any fail, i fix that. bad fueling, bad spark or whatever.if all 3 pass, its NEW CAT TIMEeasy huh? a binary answer.bad cat, bad motor. (or both)when i say bad motor that means, every inch of the EFI/engine system. every drop.

Fuel pump relay location

There may be a fuel pump fuse or connection you can undo but the relay is integrated with the entire injection system. If you disconnect it, you will lose spark as well. I would look through the fuse box first, I will drag out my wiring diagram in the morning and give you more specific details.

Why it shuts down while driving

Usually if you are having problems with intermittent and impossible to diagnose "shuts down while driving" issues on a D-series Honda, it's a bad distributor. Heat and vibration usually cause one of the three sensors in the distributor (top dead center, cylinder position, #1 top dead center) to intermittently fail. About 90% of the time, this is the problem. It is such a prevalent problem I used to always keep a spare "dizzy" in the trunk to bail out my fellow Honda nuts when they ended up dead on the side of the road.

Replace clutch

this is easily done on this engine. just need a jack and some wheel ramps. take the battery off undo the starter motor, undo the box bolts to the engine and take the plate out. jack up remove the engine mount on gearbox side. ,then jack up after so engine is at an angle and pull off the gearbox and clutch housing oh forgot to say remove the gear link pin and clutch cable. now you can see the clutch and remove it. when putting the clutch back in locate the new clutch with a socket one of the long types think it was an 18mm just fits in right for the locator. then bolt down the new clutch take out the socket. and put back the engine in reverse. wiggle the gear box and casing to locate back onto the new clutch if dont fit in first time.
