I took mine in expecting to have it repaired and it turns out that it was just the screws along the left and right-hand side of the panel.  They were loose.  The guy told me that "it eventually happens" and that "it's only a matter of time".  He went on to say that "it shouldn't happen again".  So, check the screws on either side of the panel right where it's stopping.  I suspect that this is prohibiting yours from closing as well.

Try checking the fuse it may be bad. Hope this takes care of your problem, good luck

lightly tap the relay with a screwdriver but end see if theres any change(should hear a click) lts likely may be stuck or you may have an electrical problem somewhere else, you can always swap it out for a known good one like the horn relay just to test it

which enigine, hondas, as most cars do, have engine options. size , cylinder, turbo and other options ,SOHC or DOHC. what engine. the question is strictly engine based. so... 4cyl, 6cylinder, and displacement. liters.???????????? the FSM overs this. alldata.com covers this. google the engine and you will find it. or on most cars, open the hood see the diagram there, did you even look? most amasing of all , open glove box extract the operators guide, page 236 , is the answer, all the time. posted 100s of times here even just honda';s searches do work. lost the guide.? its free here http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/honda/honda-accord-coupe-owners-manuals/ put it back for next time , lost. or stranded.

Your battery could be dead. If it is you should replace it and check your alternator is charging it.

Hello, what linkage? There are numerous parts that contain linkage. transmission? Throttle body? Steering?

Please let me know what the engine code is and the engine capacity. I will post a pic of it off Autodata.

If it displays Err or E, it's because the wrong code was entered too many times. The unit is now locked out. You will need to go to Honda and get the correct code for the unit, remove power from it to reset it, then enter the correct code. The sticker in the glove box was for the factory unit. If it was replaced at some point, the code is different.

center of the fire wall in engine compartment it may be clogged or broken seal some where around the ac/heater core inlet hoses

The horn and rear brake lights are on the same fuse. Eventually the horns rust out like on my 1998 CRV. Once I replaced the horns, I could put in a new fuse without it blowing every time I sounded the horn. Problems still remain, namely: the cruise control does not engage and the remote start only starts the engine that runs for two seconds then dies. Still looking for an answer. It's a "Code Alarm" with Codestart dated 11/24/99.
