1990 jeep wrangler turn signals
Is this an optical issusion and the indicators are merely being "flooded " by the wash of light from the headlights. Try a stronger bulb in the indicators or use amber bulbs if not already fitted.

1990 Jeep Wrangler:
When I depress
Sounds like a leaking master or slave for the clutch that is not permitting full disengagement. If it only happens when cold it could also be caused by incorrect lube (too heavy) in the transmission, but that is unusual.
Make sure the fluid in the clutch master cylinder is full and that there is no visible seepage where the rod enters from the pedal and that there also is no seepage at the slave unit.

90 yj only 70k on it sat for 2 years. 4.2 carb,
Check the fuel for a presence of water. I'm sure there was a recall notice on the gasket on top of the fuel tank where the sending unit mounts. My YJ sat for a year and had water in the tank from this leaking. Drain and drop the tank, replace the gasket, and reinstall.

I am hoping that some of you jeep brainiacs out
i would recommend you connect a fuel pressure gauge to the engine fuel rail port and watch the fuel pressure as you drive it note fuel pressure should be between 31 and 39 psi and stay there while vehicle is being driven. if it drops check the wiring to the pump in many cases the pump connector is burned and losses connnection. also try watching the egr see if its diaphragm keeps surging try disconnecting the vacuum hose to it see it any change is noticed, common problem 4.0 engines of that year EGR's cost about 90 dollars but help stalling and emissions problems greatly.

I have a hard top for a 1990 jeep wrangler and it
So the Jeep has a hard top....... or you bought a hard top to put on your Jeep that originally did not come with a hard top. You can forget Chiltons for good info. If there is no switch, the wire harness may/should be there, so you need to install a switch and relay. The harness ends up at the left tail lamp area. The relay is up above the parking brake pedal. 5 wires. Brown. Brown/White, Black/Yellow, White/Black, and Black (ground) The harness should be there to connect a rear wiper switch in the dash.

1990 jeep wrangler. runs good, then suddenly it
Your fuel filter is probably plugged - change out the fuel filter. The location of the filter depends of which motor your truck has and the type of fuel injection system - a throttle body system typically has a fuel filter mounted into the throttle body whereas a multiport usually has the filter mounted to the frame rail, close to under the drivers seat. Determine which configuration you have and go buy the filter - this will help you to determine where it is and what it looks like.
Hope this helps!!

Horn doesn't work
Use a test light to see if there is power going to the horn. There could be a blown fuse or you may need a new horn itself.
