Both blubs dead?
if one is dead, bad bulb or bad matching fuse Left/ right.
the fuse power lamp full time.
and with key off you turn the switch and the HL, switch grounds the lamps both)
and it glows.
so if both are dead, the switch is bad or the ground to it is bad.

Only have high beam where do I fix low beam
I'd start by checking the bulbs with a continuity meter.
If they are OK then the common circuitry become suspicious.
Is there a Low beam Fuse? Use a voltmeter to check for power at both sides. Could be the dimmer switch is not functioning.
Patience and logic.
You'll find it.
What could cause a1991 suzuki samurai to have no fire from a new coil?

crank engine look for code 41 o 42.!!!
USA cars , answers only
our cars are all EFI that year.
no engine swaps to Suzuki G16A/B sidekick or tracker engines.!
1: engine cranks
2: no spark
3: The ECu makes spark
the CMP sensor in the DIzzy , (never fails if rotor turns, does rotor turn, if not cam belt igored and now snapped.)
the cam turns. the CMP fires. the ECU takes this CMP signal
and fires the ignitor next to coil and the coil charges, and release and BAM spark.
that is it.
the ECU will tell you when the CMP dies or the Ignitor fails
why not ask it.
1: key on
2: diagnostic jumper in place (flashes 12s for ok)
3: crank engine,for 5sec, not 1 ,not 2.
3: release key not off.
4: see code 41, or 42, BINGO !@!!!!
No spark on 91 Suzuki Samurai
If you are getting power to the distributor cap but not from there to the leads/ plugs! It must be within the distributor! Does it have a condenser in the distributor?
Revs too low
carb car? or early EFI.revs, too low doing what.idlingdriving.coasting.what? just a tiny hint, of situation.click sammi here to go to sammihttp://www.fixkick.com/
I think there is bad gas getting to the carburetor.
still stock with stock carb? or it EFI.?some are. newer.no matter all gas motors same.1: compression bad, (timing belt to cam bad)2: no spark (or timed wrong ) you did only 1 of 2 tests.3: bad fueling. try test fuel1,,2 3, in that order or go crazy chasing tail. .
Ignition reset switch location
Not aware of a reset switch. Could be one of the ignition relays. Could be the crank sensor, camshaft sensor or the ignition module(coils) itself. If your engine has a distributor check that the rotor button rotates when you crank the engine. Any electrical gizmo's in the distributor should be checked also.
I lost 5th and reverse
You know the thing is 20, 10 years beyond its service life. Something has lasted twice its projected life and you are disgusted? Find a used transmission with much lower mileage and install it, obviously you have the skills to R&R, or find a rebuild kit and rebuild the transmission. It may be cheaper in the long run to scrap it and find another vehicle.
