Sometimes the electronic control module goes to sleep. Usually happens when you always unlock the car with the remote. Trying locking and unlocking the driver door several time to see if it clears up.

timing is incorrect/usually have to find #1 cyl top dead cent then use camshaft alignment marks and then reinstall belt.

Try a can of Lucas Transmission Slip - 100M - see if that helps. Something is sticking in there. This might free it up.

Sounds like its in limp mode, where the transmission has a problem and to protect the vehicle it will not go faster. Check online for the parts you need, its mostly a solenoid that fails, unless you blew 3rd gear or something.

If you don't believe the shop take it to another one. If they tell you the same thing then you have your answer. The cable could just need sprayed with some silicone or has worn thrue its jacket.

Fuel injection Relay! These things fail more when it is warm out (during the summer etc). It is a large relay located under the hood inside the fuse box. It is about the size of 2 relays put together. It is either red or green. When it gets hot out, the relay swells up an separates and causes the car to stall out intermittently.

I agree. Find a transmission. There is really no easy fix. Sorry.

The blower motor relay is behind the glove box. If your blower only runs on high it's the resistor and it's behind the glove box too.

the filter has to be really blocked to prevent fuel flow and even then the cart will idle I suspect the your fuel pump is a problem either from a faulty fuel pressure regulator or relay for the fuel pump I am not saying that it is not the fuel pump , just to check the other things first

Very possible bad ignition wires/cap/rotor. Replace them and the plugs first and the problem will probably go away.

Is the check engine light on? Check for fault codes first. Sometimes these engines had issues with carbon build up and poor starting cold. Run a bottle of Techron thru the tank and see if it gets better.

Take the registration, your drivers license and yourself to the closest dealer. They can look it up and give it to you in a couple of minutes.

Remove battery, battery tray, air filter housing. Disconnect the wiring to the switch. Remove the shifter cable. Install the new switch and align the switch with the Volvo alignment tool. Reassemble.

Very possible bad alternator. Have the alternator tested before you get stranded.

Needs the broken plastic gear in the odometer drive motor replaced.

The body metal breaks where the door check strap attaches. Take it to a body shop. They can weld and reinforce it.

Disconnect the battery. Remove the serpentine belt. Disconnect and remove the power steering pump. Unbolt the alternator and remove. Replace the alternator and reassemble.

You need the special square drive tool that fits in the tensioner to take tension off the belt.

Does not have a fuel lid button. If it will not open it is usually the lock solenoid is not working. You need to remove the interior panel inside the car behind the fuel filler. You will see a solenoid that you can unbolt and remove to open the door. The solenoid will need to be tested.

Check vacuum line and cable from the cruise unit. You need a factory scan tool to check it beyond that unless you are real good with a volt meter.
