Car does not have compressing
The 2.4 engine has a timing belt and it is an interference engine.Have you checked to see if the timing belt is broken ?

Hi R, As the vehicle started after replacing the oxygen sensor I don't believe the two problems are linked. Have your mechanic carry out a diagnostic scan and we'll go on from there. As a matter of interest, why did you replace the oxygen sensor? Regards John
1998 volvo s70 part question
Fuel line is about it. Any part for a volvo is extremely hard to find. Where exactly is it leaking at? If it is a plastic type hose you should be able to look in the ends and there are o rings in there that can be replaced versus changing out the whole hose. If it is a metal one most auto part stores can make a new one. I might be able to find the oem part number for you and then you can google the number to find the hose. Let me know if you are interested in that.
Oil light and door ajar lights stay on when car is
the door ajar lights should be an easy fix... look inside the door jamb for a little pushbutton switch, its kinda like a refrigerator door light switch.. after you find it - push it in and let it pop back out by sliding finger off of it. Do this a couple dozen times (you are cleaning off the contacts inside the switch with the snapping action) then test with a closed door and car running! move on to the next door with this problem.
The Oil light is a totally different problem. with the engine cold and NOT running.. check the oil level and make sure its at its right level. Add oil if needed, if oil is not needed then suspect either the oil pressure sender is failing or the oil pump is failing (check oil pressure sender 1st as it is cheaper to get it fixed)

Reving engine
could be a variety of things, is the check engine light on? possible the throttle sensor is bad, could also be a vacuum leak.
Overheating
is the cooling fan/fans coming on, possibly needs relay rep[laced. (cooling fan should come on between 190 to 210 degrees)
