Why when i accelerate hard the car sputters like it going to cut off
Throttle position sensor, or just dirty. Try running higher octane gas, (premium) and/or a gas treatment supplement like STP every other tankfull. High performance engines won't run right on regular gas. My mom uses premium, she gets great performance and better gas mileage in her 99 oldsmobile.

If radiator fan is not kicking back do i have to replace the thermostat
No. There are at least 2 themostats. One of the stats is hidden inside the water pipe near the pump. Leave it alone. There is a another thermostat on the radiator header tank. 2 wires come from it. Short the wires together and the fan should start. Seperate them again and the fan should stop. To test this stat take it out of the radiator. Get an old pan or tin - fill it with water. Get a test meter or a battery and torch bulb and make a circuit across the stat. The meter / light will not read. Keep it intact and put it onto a stove and start warming things up. At about 80deg C eithe the meter will read or the light will come on. Now tidy up before the missus comes back and loose the evidence. The light coming on proves your stat is working.
Brain box
The misfire causes unburnt fuel and air to pass by the oxygen sensor. The sensor sees the oxygen and thinks more fuel is needed, so it adds gas. Focus on the misfire, bad spark plug, ignition coil, plug wire. A clogged fuel injector also causes a misfire but less common.

How much a will cost to repair a 1999 volvo s80
Hi,
Your transmission does not give the greatest service in the world. it
is a GM design and they were prone to have internal problems. There has also been a couple of software updates that Volvo has put out
since your vehicle was manufactured. It would be my recommendation to
have the transmission properly serviced, (to make sure we have the
correct fluid level and condition) and to be sure we had the latest
software installed in the Transmission Control Module before we condemn
the transmission. They usually do not repair the transmission. They replace it and would cost you around $2500. If it doesn't help, you may consider Aamco transmissions for this
repair. They are experienced in rebuilding vs. replacing your existing
unit and that may be more economical than replacing the unit. They will
also give a 12/12 warranty on their work.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
