Dead cyclinder has spark
You'll need to do a compression test to see if that dead hole is damaged. Hondas had problems with burnt exhaust valves and I wouldn't be too surprised if that's your problem. However, it is possible that the compression is good, if so, and if you have spark, you may have a bad injector on the cylinder.
How pcv valve work for
The pcv(positive crankcase ventilation) valve ventilates explosive gasses from the crankcase so the engine does not blow up, literally, like a bomb.
My air conditioner doesn't work,
you could ha e a leak in your ac system. listen while your car is running with the ac turned to full blast and see if you hear the compressor cycling on and off. if you dont, hook up a set of ac pressure gauges and see if there is any pressure on the system. if nothing else try adding a can of refridgerant into the system. if unsure how to do so take it to an auto parts store and they can show you where you need to add the refridgerant and probably do it for you.
My 1993 Honda Civic LX
the basics are fuel air and spark, so check for spark by removing a plug wire and laying it on your engine close to bare metal and crank it , you should hear a nice snapping noise, if you have spark then youll need to go over the fuel system, there is an inertia switch located in the trunk i believe

Re: What causes a car to buck? (TeamNextGenChris)
A car bucks when you tie a rope around its' scrotum. Try to hang on for eight seconds.
Okay, kidding aside, if it bucks all of the time no matter what gear or throttle demand, I would say you have a severe misfire or very low fuel pressure. Fuel filters should be replaced every two years and you should question if the spark plugs and wires are good if they have more than six thousand miles on them.
My 93 civic will only
A bad FICV usually results in a high, low engine rev while at idle.
Remove the FICV and clean it out with sum brake or carb cleaner. If that doesn't work then just pick up another one.
Replacing leaking hose and refill with
The correct mixture/temperature scales are printed on the bottles of all good quality anti freezes. You can purchase a special hydrometer from a motor spares outlet that will give you the exact freezing point of you coolant, ti repeat, the mix depends on the minimum ambient temperature you expect to be driving in.
What is a blown head gasket and how can I fix it?
Your head gasket is a gasket ( usually 3 layers of metal and synthetic material) that is betwen the head and the block.
It keeps different systems in your engine seperated.
When it "blows" it's mean that it is ruptured and allowing one system to interfer with another i.e: Coolant system with oil ot oil with combustion or coolant with combustion.
Most common is coolant with combustion is which you coolant (antifreeze) leaks into a cylinder and burns with the gasoline when the engine is runng.
This is commonly seen as a thick oily white smoke coming out the exhaust with a definate smell
Replacing a head gasket is not a job for an inexperianced person. It involves removing the upper portion of the engine, eplacing the gasket and reassembling it.
