96 Honda Civic PASSENGER Power Window will NOT go down,Only UP.

Check the Power Window Relay that is located in the drivers side kick panel, not in the fuse panel. I just had a similar problem with a Civic 4dr, had power out of all the switches and the motor would work fine if I hooked up direct power, when I hooked the switch to the motor, nothing happened. I printed the wiring diagram from AutoZones help section and found the relay that operates everything for the windows.

code 15 is ignition output signal, an electrical problem. The engine computer sees no spark signals coming from the igniter. This is a good job for a Honda mechanic who isn't afraid of electronics. http://s639.photobucket.com/user/RonJ_HT/media/picture_3699.jpg.html

Honda accord 2002 engine fit on honda accord 94

It might not be a direct swap. Engine codes changed a little along with displacement. Not sure what else may have changed too. If the engine code was the same, then it would likely be a direct drop-in, but now I would wonder about engine mounts, transmission adapters, wiring harness, sensors, etc.

Car will start fine, brakes work but once in drive

When you move the shifter into the position P,R,N,D does the indicator on the gauge light up. For example in "P" the P indictor light up, "R" the R indicator light up and so on.
If it does then you might have a bad transmission.
If the indicator stay in one position only even when you' move your shifter back and forth. You might have a broken link cable from the shifter to the trans.

How do I remove gas from my 1997 Honda Civic Dx?

Olivia, You need a helpful mechanic/DIYer to get under the rear seat or trunk to locate the fuel tank sender unit. If you release the sender unit you will have ready access to the tank to drain it. Please make sure that if someone does it for you that you or they DO NOT use an electric drill powered pump because the fumes from the gas will be ignited by the drill!! If a garage does it or a good home mechanic they could use an air powered drill with a compressor which won't generate any sparks. The option is a hand operated pump of some sort, but please take care and disconnect the battery negative terminal before you start.

Wheel alignment

If the car is stock then I would run the caster at .05 higher on the right than the left to adjust for the crown of the road. the front alignment looks good other than I am not sure which one is camber and which one is caster. To adjust the rear camber on these cars you have to have a camber kit. From the angle I am seeing you don't have a camber kit. Also the only way to adjust caster on the civic is to shift the sub frame.

I change my transmission in 1997 honda civic freio I change the cvt to a manual transmission andengine check light stay on what could cause that to happen

Check engine lights report faults in engine AND gear box(auto). If you have changed from an auto to manual gear box then the sensor system for the gearbox is recording a massive fault with the gearbox that you have to check out. Talk wit an accredited auto electrician as to how to neutralise the system so that the light only checks out the engine.

Hard Shifting 1997 5 Speed Honda Civic Manual Transmission

if its manual transmission, when moving in any gear try stepping on the gas pedal, does the engine feels like its running away? if it does it maybe the clutch lining is expended expensive job.
If not you have to check the clutch fluid level or a leak in the master cylinder (at the foot pedal) assembly or in the slave(clutch lever actuator) the clutch actuator may not be traveling (pushing) sufficiently to give you an adequate clutch separation in other words you are trying to shift the gears with little or no clutch at all.
There is an overhaul kit that you can buy (cheap) for the master or the slave. easy to do really just remove, disassemble, replace the rubber seals and cups, reinstall, bleed the air out.

Mike, thank you for answering my question. however, im broke and need to know if there is a cheap fix that might solve my problem apart from a mechanic. please help

I have alott of experience rebuilding civic transmissions its a shaft and selector issue in the transmission no fluids will help that situation.they are super simple to rebuild only a 3-4 hr job n a 800$ rebuild kit+ selector arm happens alott to civics usually from reving it up n dumping 1st n going quickly to second the selector breaks but you can still shift around fine but first n then reverse will go out usually. drain the fluid and see if you can get a magnet tool up there n see the chunks of metal sometimes if its a clean split you cant tell until its apart I had one customer just had a slight kinda clunk into 3rd gear ,.. snapped off selector n it was a tiny seemingly "easy fix"" too its a 80% chance tho id say.hope it helps

Why cant i shift my car into first gear?

This sounds like the clutch is not disengaging fully. Aside from that, there are several other conditions that manifest as the same condition, like the pilot bearing. Can you get it into reverse??? is it just first gear?? I suggest that you attend to this right away as you are likely wearing out your synchronizers. They are what keep the gears from grinding and they would wear very quickly with your contidtion.
