Unlock code for radio 98 honda accord
Your battery must have gone dead or you replaced it.
Your car’s audio system will disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason. To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code in the Preset buttons. Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from five digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.
You should have received a card with your manual(if you have one) that lists your audio system’s code number and serial number. If you don't have the card, you can get the code number from your Honda dealer, but to do this, you will need the system’s serial number, or maybe the accord's vin number.
If your car’s battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens, you will see ‘‘Code’’ in the frequency display the next time you turn on the system. Use the Preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. If it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.
Hope this is helpful.
How to reset fuel pump on 1999 honda accord a/t?,
I replaced the pump on my 1999 Accord EX V6 and didn't have to reset a thing. The only problem is that the low fuel light doesn't come on every time it should. The poor idling sounds like a different problem like your TPS or the IAC solenoids. Have your local parts store pull codes for you for free if you have a check engine light on.
How do I reset the radio code for a 1999 Honda Accord?
there should be a code that you can get from the dealer but they will require the VIN number and the serial number of the radio. Before you do that try to find the code on your car. Common places where the code is found are the glove box. the bottom of the ash tray, the door jamb.
If your brakes need changing will your maintenance
No the maintenance light comes on at a set mileage interval to remind you that your vehicle will be do for oil or some other scheduled maintenance. Low brakes will not trigger the light. If there is a serious problem with the braking system it will trigger the red brake light on the dash.
1999 HONDA ACCORD FACTORY KEY FOB PROGRAM
Great news, you can program a 1999
Honda Accord Key Fob yourself. Simply follow these instructions:
Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle and read the instructions prior to programming.
Entering programming mode will erase all previously programmed remotes for this vehicle. You must have all remotes available for programming including working ones.
- Enter vehicle and close all doors
- Each of the following steps must be completed within five seconds of completing the previous step. If you take longer than five seconds or make a mistake, you must start the entire procedure over.
- Insert the key into the ignition, hold one remote in your left hand with additional remotes close by. We recommend taking remotes off the key ring to perform the procedure. When the instructions say to press the LOCK button, you should press the LOCK button on the remote for approximately one second then release it.
Perform each of the next three steps in order, then repeat all three steps two more times for a total of three times each.
- Turn the ignition to the ON position, marked II.
- Press the LOCK button on the remote.
- Turn the ignition to the OFF position, marked I. (Do steps 1-3 three times)
Next, turn the ignition switch to ON position, marked II.
4. Using the same remote, press the LOCK button again. The door locks should cycle indicating the vehicle has ENTERED programming mode.
5. Using the same remote, press the LOCK button again. The door locks should cycle indicating the vehicle has PROGRAMMED that remote.
If you have other remotes to program then repeat step 5 with each additional remote one after another. Step 5 must be completed within ten seconds for each additional remote. You may program up to three remotes.
6. Turn the ignition to OFF. Test all remotes.
If your remote has a trunk button you will need to hold that button down for several seconds for that function to operate.

screen reads 'CODE'. You must enter in the Anti-Theft Radio Unlock Code

Ignition _ key turns the engine on but does not
So all of your dashboard lights come on, you can hear the fuel pump prime itself, but yet the engine doesn't start? Have your starter tested, to see if it is good. If you can get the starter off, you can bring it into a Autozone, a Napa, or any other local auto parts stores in your area; and they can hook it up to a test machine. This will tell you whether your starter is the problem or not.
