Had factory radio, burned out
Check all your fuses first. The yellow wire behind the deck is for a constant 12 volts from the battery( to retain memory), the red wire is for switched power, for example when you turn the key it should be 12 volts, when you remove the key(or turn off) there should be no voltage on the red wire, and of course, make sure you have a good ground. Use a test light when performing these tests, it's a time saver.

What wills cause a jeep Cherokee to shut off
Hello and welcome to FixYa!
Yes you may have a problem on the fuel supply. It can be a faulty fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter. There can be rust or dirt inside the tank as well and I suggest that you drain the fuel as a first course of action. After that, replace the fuel filter. If it still fails then go for the fuel pump replacement.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

1994 jeep cherokee Starts runs
Check under the hood on the driver's side near the firewall, screwed to the top of the inside of the fender. There is a transistor (I think that's what it's called)... point is, there are two wires attached to it. If either is loose, corroded, or disconnected, it will do exactly that. It's for the fuel pump. When you start the engine, it uses a different circuit route than when it's just running- routing around that transistor. When the engine switches back to normal, it runs through that broken line, and uses what little gas is left in the line, and dies. This may not be your issue, but if it is, checking will avoid a lot of headache.

94 yj will not crank over but I have a clicking
It appears you have a poor battery cable ground connection. Remove the cable from the baterry ans lean the bat connection thoroughly. If this is a side post, put a ble in the terminal threads and see if the terminal is loose. If it is, The terminal is broken loose inside and the battery needs replacing. Good Luck, Ned

My jeep rattles in transfer case. Can I
Yes, you can. Your jeep will still run fine with just the rear wheels powered. I ran a 93 Grand Cherokee without a front drive shaft for years with no problems.

My jeep has the death
If you are absolutely sure everything is tight, ball joints, tie rod ends, good bushings, idler arm, pitman arm then you need to get a steering stabilizer. You may even need 2, one on each side. The stabilizer looks like a shock absorber but it fastens to the drag link ( between the tie rods) and to the frame. It can be gotten at most any auto parts store. Hope this helps.

My windows dont work
Check all your fuses first, especially if it is every single window. There should be a diagram for fuses it should indicate windows on one or two.
