1987 Merc Grand Marquis, saving as "collector"

You need to attach a pressure gauge to the schrader valve and measure the fuel pressure with the key on and also while running. You need to see about 40 lbs in both cases.

My car wont start. I replaced my battery but it still wont start. Tested the alternator and it is good. Something might be draining the battery but not sure what?

Does the engine spin over and not start? Or turn the key and nothing happens?
New spark plugs and wires won't have anything to do with the starter and battery keeping the engine from spinning when you turn the key.
Need more specific explanation. Thanks,
Scott

I dont have power to my blower on a 1987 grand marquis station wagon and fuse is ok is it a resister?

Power goes from the fuse to the function select switch, then to the blower motor. The fan switch and the resistor is the ground circuit for the blower.

Gas gage is not working 1987 grand marquis

Fuel level sending unit. I hope it's not, but ya..... it's inside the fuel tank. Also called the float level. Not an easy task unless you are ready to drop the fuel tank at home. Some had a small access hole under the back seat so you could get to it easier, but it's not that easy to get the back seat out, and harder to get it back in. Hope this helps.
