Well i parked my car

this is a very common problem with the tumbler. They fail internally. If your car has security that may be why it doesnt start, The tumbler will need to be replaced because no matter what it should never jam like this. Even if you are able to free it it , one day it will fail again and then you may end up stranded

Now my merc tracer wont

its not the ignition, its the tumbler. The tumbler is connected to the ignition. This is real common these days. I have seen so many failed tumblers, even replacements thats its scary to think they can get away with such a lousey product. As you can see no way should a stuck key be a problem. If it sticks then you have a defective unit.

Check your brake lights. If they dont work, the shifter will not come out of park. You should be able to turn key on, move shifter, then start it in neutral. Check fuses and then brake light switch.

How to easly change the starter

On most all front wheel drives the starter is located at the front side of engine where the transmission and engine connect just above the oil pan. There are three bolts two from engine side and one from transmission side. You may say more that dang while making change but it isn't a big complicated thing to do. Make sure to disconnect battery,< Positive and then Negative " always do this way>, and keep supply wires to starter together and install correctly. On the bolt setup don't quote me as they vary and this is common way for them.

Yes, it is possible the temp. sender is faulty, but I would do a cross check of the actual coolant temperature vs gauge reading using a cooking thermometer in the top of the radiator.
Take care not to get scalded - check it at about 180 to 200 deg.
