Well all cars 23 years old are going to fail ,they all do no cars made run forever, without serious repairs vast things wear out. and is not confusing at all it is 100% NORMAL. ahh have smoke machine, very very rare in any DIY car shop. I have one, home made. Engine power loss? not transmission slip,(automatic or?) right foot can not save the stall turn it off and will not start. so does it crank NOW? the starter must work first and if IMMO option it must be happy or starting is IMMOBLIZED intake backfire is burned valves or cam timing way off this engine PCM fires 6 cop coils. in proper order that will not ever just magically fire wrong order so back to cam we go the chain can fail and all its friends ,guides and the hyd. chain tension'er .at 200k to 250k miles, did it? seen here. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/suzuki,2000,grand+vitara,2.5l+v6,1364565,engine,timing+chain+&+component+kit,5756 we check cam timing. check cyl. compression over 150psi: scan the PCM for errors. maybe the CKP is misfiring wrong or chain is loose and CMP fires dead wrong. yes CAT's can melt ,running rich all the time, and ignoring it.

IS THIS A RUBBER CAM BELT DRIVE, IF YES IT IS BAD rs415 ,NO SWIFTS IN USA 2007 M15A 4-cyl 1.5 (BUT IS CHAIN CAM) SO IF COMPRESSION AND SPARK ARE GOOD? THEN WE DO TEST FUEL, CAN-0-SPRAY TEST FUEL IT MUST START OR ENGINE HAS PROBLEMS FUEL DRIBBLE TESTS ARE 99% USELESS IF NOT DRY. ONLY FUEL PRESSURE MATTERS, FOR SURE CRANKING ANY DEAD ENGINE, AT PSI SPEC. PRESSURE. M15A HAS VVT, IF STUCK VVT,STUCK ADVANCED, THIS TO CAN FAIL. ALL SPARK GOOD X4 , SO TEST FUEL IS NEXT SPRAY IT TO INTAKE MAIN PIPE, FOR 3 SECONDS AND ENGINE RUNS FOR 3 SECONDS AND STOPS REPEAT AND BE SURE ENGINE SOUNDS GOOD. IF YES FUEL PRESSURE IS DEAD WRONG

Do they use the same carb in the Suzuki F6, F6A, 6 valve and 12 valve engines

The Suzuki F6, F6A, 6 valve, and 12 valve engines do not necessarily use the same carburetor. The carburetor used on a particular engine depends on factors such as the engine's displacement, number of cylinders, and year of manufacture. For example, the Suzuki F6A engine, which was used in various Suzuki vehicles such as the Suzuki Carry and Suzuki Jimny, has several different carburetor options depending on the model year and vehicle application. Some of the carburetors used on the F6A engine include the Hitachi DM14, DM20, and DM24 carburetors, as well as the Suzuki F5A and F8B carburetors. Similarly, the Suzuki F6 engine, which was used in the Suzuki Cappuccino sports car, also has a specific carburetor designed for its engine configuration. Therefore, it's important to confirm the exact engine model and year of manufacture, as well as the vehicle application, to determine the correct carburetor for a particular engine.

2008 Suzuki xl7 changed both fuel pumps because it was running rough with sputtering and would not pick up speed.

If your 2008 Suzuki XL7 was running rough with sputtering and would not pick up speed, and you have already changed both fuel pumps, then there may be other possible causes for the issue. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Check the fuel filter: If the fuel filter is clogged or dirty, it can cause fuel flow problems and result in similar symptoms. Try replacing the fuel filter to see if it helps.
  2. Check the fuel pressure: Use a fuel pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If the pressure is low, it could indicate a problem with the fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors, or other components.
  3. Check the spark plugs: Worn or fouled spark plugs can cause misfires and rough running. Try replacing the spark plugs to see if it helps.
  4. Check the air filter: A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the engine and cause poor performance. Try replacing the air filter if it's dirty.
  5. Check for vacuum leaks: Leaks in the vacuum system can cause rough running and poor acceleration. Check all vacuum hoses and connections for leaks or damage.
If none of these solutions work, there may be other underlying issues with the engine or other components that require further diagnosis by a mechanic.

Where is the fuel pump relay on 02 Suzuki esteem gl

The fuel pump relay on a 2002 Suzuki Esteem GL is located in the engine compartment, in the fuse and relay box on the driver's side. Here's how to find it:
  1. Open the hood of your car and locate the fuse and relay box on the driver's side.
  2. Remove the cover of the fuse and relay box.
  3. Locate the fuel pump relay. There should be a diagram on the underside of the fuse and relay box cover that indicates which relay is the fuel pump relay.
  4. Once you have located the fuel pump relay, you can either test it or replace it if necessary.

1990 suzuki samurai carbureated going down the road and timing belt broke put a new belt on and put in time but not getting any spark out of coil checked all fuses and I have power going to the coil

If you have power going to the coil but are not getting spark, it could be due to a faulty ignition module or a faulty coil. To check the ignition module, you can perform a bench test using a multimeter. You'll need to disconnect the module from the vehicle and use the multimeter to test the resistance of the module's internal components. If the readings are outside the recommended range, the module may need to be replaced. If the ignition module tests okay, you can check the coil using a similar process. You'll need to test the resistance of the coil's primary and secondary windings to ensure they are within the recommended range. If the readings are off, the coil may need to be replaced. It's also possible that there could be a problem with the distributor cap or rotor, or that there is a problem with the wiring or connections leading to the coil. Checking these components and connections could also help pinpoint the issue.

How to wire an aftermarket fuse block for 84 suzuki GS550L

Wiring an aftermarket fuse block for an 84 Suzuki GS550L involves a few steps. Here is a general guide to help you get started:
  1. Determine the location where you want to mount the aftermarket fuse block. A good location would be near the battery or under the seat for easy access.
  2. Locate the positive (+) and negative (-) wires coming from the battery. The positive wire should be red, and the negative wire should be black.
  3. Connect the positive wire from the battery to the input terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. The input terminal is typically labeled "B+" or "Bat." Use a suitable gauge wire to ensure adequate current flow.
  4. Connect the negative wire from the battery to the ground terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. The ground terminal is typically labeled "GND" or "Ground."
  5. Identify the electrical components that you want to connect to the fuse block. The GS550L has various electrical components such as the headlights, turn signals, ignition, etc.
  6. Determine the appropriate fuse rating for each electrical component. Refer to the owner's manual or the component manufacturer's specifications for the recommended fuse rating.
  7. Connect each electrical component to a separate output terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. Each output terminal should be labeled with the electrical component name, and the wire gauge should match the component's power requirements.
  8. Insert the appropriate fuse for each electrical component into the corresponding fuse holder on the aftermarket fuse block.
  9. Test the electrical components to ensure that they are working correctly.
It is essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions and consult a qualified mechanic or electrician if you are unsure of any step. Also, ensure that you disconnect the battery before working on the electrical system to avoid any electrical shock or short circuits.

I have a 1985 Suzuki GS700ES. Where do wires from my 2 coil packs go to which spark plug. Thanks

The 1985 Suzuki GS700ES is a motorcycle that is equipped with two coil packs, each responsible for providing the spark to two cylinders. To determine which wire from the coil pack goes to which spark plug, you can consult the wiring diagram for your motorcycle. If you don't have a wiring diagram, you can also determine the correct wire placement by using a spark tester. To do this, you'll need to disconnect one of the spark plug wires from a spark plug and connect it to the spark tester. Then, turn on the engine and observe which spark plug is firing. Repeat this process for each of the remaining spark plug wires until you have determined the correct placement for all of the wires. It's important to ensure that the wires are properly connected, as incorrect placement can result in poor engine performance or damage to the ignition system.
