for what? torque gap condition burn color charts. spark present at all. spark quality or intensity? what?

88 is old car..... is it a carb car or EFI car. this is a transition year, here in USA> locations are never stated, here, so most answers are wrong. this sounds like a sticking EGR. the EGR opens at cruise and closes as you stop car if it dont close the engine stalls. (or near) its a 50,000 mile service item. we clean it. in a shop the replace it, so it can go another 50k. but i clean mine. so i dont have to pay $200. there are vast numbers of reasons for stalled. but works out to just 4. (basics,) and the EGR. if you get a tuneup, right, it will stop stalling

According to my wiring diagram, the blue and white wire from the blower motor gets power from the key switch. The fan switch and resistor grounds the motor.No blower fuse is listed.

HEATER BLOWER MOTOR

Its faulty blower motor resistor. The low and medium speed on blower motor is controlled by resistor and its actual speed is high. So because resistor is not working, blower motors actual speed which is high is working.

It can be faulty blower motor or faulty blower motor resistor. Get the blower motor inspected. If it's faulty it has to be replaced.

check the battery voltage ,. if it;s above 12 volts then test the wire going to the solenoid to see if it has 12 volts when turning the key to start. if it does then the solenoid or starter could be bad/

You need to have the battery charging system tested, you most likely have an alternator that is failing.

clean it off with brake parts cleaner

check to see if your fuel gauge is working by disconnecting the fuse from the panel, if gauge reads e then ground the fuel gauge if it reads full then the fuel gauge reads fine the its the float sensor in the fuel tank. good luck have fun
