It means that the ABS control module has detected a fault. 9 times out of 10 , this is because the ABS sensors are either dirty or out of adjustment (if they are not fixed sensors ) Take it to a workshop for them to check and clean the sensors. Hope that helps

You have to remove the inside door handle, arm rest and the door trim. The door glass is attached to a track with bolts to the power window regulator. Overtime the cycling of the glass up and down causing vibration has loosen the fasteners. Probably the bolts were not fasten tighten enough at the factory.

there is no manual way to close the sun roof on this vehicle. The motor and tracks need to be inspected. Hopefully this helps!!

Should you have two O2 Sensors, one will be located "upstream" of the catalytic converter...screwed into the exhaust with anywhere from two to four wires going to it, and also takes a 7/8" O2 Sensor wrench to remove and install and should you have a second one, it is placed "After" the catalytic converter and at times, right along beside it with the same amount of wires as the upstream one.

it could need a tune up. your fuel filter, ignition coils, injectors, air filter, egr system, restricted exhaust can all cause these problems. worst case senario your torque converter is bad.

I don't think changing your alternator caused the check engine light to come on, but you need to have your car scanned to see what did trip the check engine light. There are hundreds of reasons for it, and a good thing to try is to go to a local auto parts store, such as Autozone, and have them scan your car's code for free. They will tell you what the code is, and what possibly caused it, if possible. That way you can be better educated as to what needs fixed!

it means that the TRACtion control is turned off,(it stops the wheels spinning on loose,gravel etc.for maximum safety on road,keep it turned on...

Try changing the fuel filter and air filter.

follow the leads there will be one for every cyclinder if u have 4 cyclinder there should be 4 leads if u have 6 cyclinders 6 leads ect.only remove one lead at a time and change that plug so as not to mix up the leads
make sure not to overtighten the new plugs or cross thread as this will damage the head big money to fix.DO NOT DROP ANYTHING DOWN THE HOLE WHEN THE OLD PLUG IS OUT

go to lexus with ownership papers and they will get the code for you but its going to cost you no other way out

Replacing brake pads involves pushing the pistons all the way back into the the caliper. This will force fluid up into the master cylinder. Sometimes it also allows some air to get past the piston seal and cause 'soft' pedal. In this case bleeding is required. Anyway the brake fliud should be completely changed by pressure bleeding at this time.

Yuck, that sucks. best guess is malfunction in the body control module circut. factory anti theft uses ground circut disable to keep the car from running without the key. try disconnecting the negative battery cable, wait 10 min. and remove the BCM fuse and any fuse that is related to the vehicle security system. re-connect the battery and try it. if it runs the the fuel pump most likely has a ground issue that was overlooked during replacement.

should be a sticker under the hood with the emission control system diagram. as for any other vacuum components I would go to the service dept. of your local lexus or toyota dealer and ask really nice. that way you can be almost sure that you get the correct info for your car and aren't going to be looking at 15 pages of stuff that will make your eyes cross when only 2 or 3 actually apply to you

the tensioner is generally spring loaded. check that you have the belt correctly routed. then you may need to attach a socket/rachet to the center bolt of the tensioner to move it enough to slip the belt on. if it moves freely it likely needs to be replaced as well.

You should start by checking your fuses. Go to a parts store or walmart, you can buy a 12volt light-up tester there while your buying your spare fuses. It will consist of a pen-looking thing with a sharp point on one side and a wire with an alligator clip on the other. Hook the alligator clip to a good ground turn your ignition key to the on position, and touch the point side to the back of the fuses. There is a little metal contact on either side of the fuse, if it lights up on one side, it must on the other, if it does not, then that fuse is bad. You can narrow your search by looking at the fuse cover. They typically have all of the fuses listed in a "map" on the back of the cover. There will also be another fuse box under the hood. If you don't find the problem under the dash, look there.

Your engine problem seems to have many issues according to previous mechanics (techs) giving you advice on your current problem. I have a few questions myself; Were the spark plugs replaced, and if so, did it clear up the starting problem? The radio would not work and neither would the lights, so I ask, how old is the battery and did the mechanic load test it? Does the vehicle blow out blue smoke from the tail pipe while the vehicle is sitting in a park position?? How many miles are on this vehicle?
