1995 Honda Accord Questions & Answers
Burning smell from drivers side rear wheel
This happens often on Fieros. It turns out that the clamp that holds the brake hose rusts. The rust presses against the hose, restricting it's flow. You don't notice when the brakes are worn and basically not working, but after repairs you get locked up or overheated brakes. Remove or replace clamp and or hose.

Car electrical problems
I have this same old 95 Accord, four cylinders. It started with two of the spark plugs were going back, causing the radio to cutoff suddenly. The engine stops once awhile and bad mileage. Battery did not last long. I have to disconnect the radio antenna, as there was a short. Do not know if these can help. Good luck.

What weight of oil does the my 1995 Honda Accord with five speed manual transmission required to havein it?
many modern transmissions use a 30 grade straight mineral oil in the box but experience shows that a 80-90 grade OEP oil is still the best for long transmission life
However incorrect oil in the transmission will not make it leak or slip as that section is a clutch problem and if you have oil from the bell housing and a slipping clutch it indicates an over full transmission blowing out the input shaft seal and destroying the clutch
the original occasional slipping clutch indicates a problem in the clutch master cylinder or clutch cable and would have been a cheap fix but by allowing a person who is not trained in procedures , the fix will be in excess of $1000.00 as you now require a new clutch kit and front seal in the transmission

I have a 1995 Honda Accord lx 2.2 liter engine
It sounds like your dealing w a few different problems at once. If u are burning any oil or anti freeze there is a cylinder head, head gasket or valve problem. Start w a compression test, cooling system pressure test & oil PSI test. to figure that out.

I have a 1995 Honda Accord that was running
Try some heet or iso dryer. They reduce water from gasoline. That is most likely what was in the gas can. Gas cans especially ones with just a small amount in them build up condensation inside.get this stuff and a can of sea foam dump them in your gas tank. Two bottles of the dryer and one can sea foam fill tank all the way full and run it out. Good luck.

I Have A 1995 Honda
I'd say you have a vacuum leak- maybe a gasket. Also check the egr. You can spray a little carb cleaner around gaskets to see if the engine responds. It will sputter or even stall if it sucks carb cleaner in. You'll at least hear the rpms drop. Be carefully as it is flammable. Also, there's a procedure to relearn the idle. Disconnect the battery for maybe an hour, start car with all lights, radio, a/c OFF. Let car run for several minutes.

I have a 1995 Honda Accord hasn't had working a/c
Well, if the belt to compresssor is missing then you just need a new one to remedy the problem. You must of had the belt on when you filled it last because that's the only way the system could take the "stuff." Sounds like your A/C compressor may have locked up and caused the belt to break. Either way you need a qualified technician to look at the problem.
