The battery will only cause that if the battery dropped below 10 volts, and it was running before so it is unlikely to be that. Your problem is electronic and likely to be a sensor at the simplest, or the ECM at the worst. You need a local auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool. Hi, please look into using the Motopower mp69033 b2 scanner in order to read codes from your vehicle. You can find it on amazon for less than 30 usd. Typically, you would plug it into your car on the driver's side under the main dashboard. Thank you.

What will work temporarily, is to remove the vacuum lines and hook them together, stopping the vacuum leak in the EGR because you've bypassed it. That will work till you can find a new one, or good used one and get it changed. Now you can say "why didn't I think of that". Seriously, friend, it's just Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve. it won't hurt anything to bypass it for a little while.

Could be, but there are other things involved in the starting circuit that could be the problem . The park neutral safety switch ,start inhibit relay, open in the circuit some where ! You need a wiring diagram of the starting circuit , a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter an do some testing of the electrical circuit . Most wiper units are attached to the firewall. Some have removable plastic cover valances which allow access to the wiper blade rods (called a wiper transmission). Others have some slack in the wiper rods with enough play to allow for you to remove a retaining clip holding the parts to the motor. Do not have butter fingers here. Do not drop the retaining clip. Just remove the wiper mounting bolts and slide out the motor.

The system needs to be vacuumed down with a recovery machine and the proper amount of oil and freon added to ensure proper operation. The system most likely has air/moisture within it and will not function properly. Have it proffessionally serviced for adequate operation

Very old vehicle, and highly likely it needs a new fuel filter and major tune-up (including all new spark plug wires, spark plugs, cap, rotor, and ignition coil). Verify proper fuel pressure at the fuel rail, and service fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator as necessary. If you have been using ethanol blend fuel in the vehicle over the past few years, I recommend removing ALL FUEL from the vehicle and replacing it with new. Please read my "Tip" on Fixya regarding the problems with ethanol blend fuels in older vehicles (such as yours).

If you have water in your tank the injector cleaner gets diluted but will not fix your rough idle problem. Try a can of Sea Foam. It will smoke like crazy for 10-15 minutes but that is perfectly normal.

Can you tell me if you are having much exhaust flow or not?

it needs to be put on a charger and charged until you have about 12.6 volts at the battery terminals then have it load tested to check the condition of the battery. it may need to be replaced or you may have a voltage draw on the system, something drawing voltage that shouldn`t be. you don`t say how old the battery is so it could be a bad cell in the battery which does happen even on newer batteries.

No you have to test it with a test light or a multi Metre.

What do you mean by 'jumps time' like engine timing? As in cam sensor? Crank position sensor?Do you have any trouble codes? If so what are they?

Check for vaccum leak, if not check or replace mass air flow sencor.
