it could be your brakes , on most brakes there is a wear tab that makes a high pitched squeeling noise when it contacts the rotor. this is in place to let you know your brakes are due for replacement. if it is not your brakes then it could be a wheel bearing.

change your spark plugs if they haven't been changed in awhile. check your tires for the propper psi there should be a sticker on the inside of your drivers door that will tell you recomended air pressures go by this not the recomendations on the tires. also where are you getting you gas does it contain ethanol sometimes this can burn faster.

Have you checked the clutch master cylinder fluid level?

its bad,the PDC no country stated, no engine stated,? why? the 2005 (answering for USA) PDC hard short all fuses, all breakers all relay out means what? well power distribution2 below shows all that, every wire there. I have an 05 6 cylinder automatic TJ. The other morning I was getting trouble codes U0101 and P1603. For a few seconds the Jeep was shaking and for the entire 30min ride it wouldn't shift into the last gear, it would just continue to rev. The next day I drove it and it was fine. I also noticed a slight high pitch whine noise coming from the engine at low speeds. Any suggestions? Thanks!

check adjustment on shifter arms under on transfercase

disconnect battery for ten min

pull out spark plugs and see if they all look the same,could be dirty fuel injectors or a blocked fuel filter

Sounds like the synchro mesh has worn out

so its just the light bothering you, (i ignore mine) I can tell car is in 4wd or not, dont need no stinkn light, so.... is it in 4wd or not? we cant guess that. only you.. the light is hard wired to the transfer case switch if the switch closes, you are in 4wd, or the switch is bad. end story on silly light. and fuse 10 is the power for that light. on this car , there is no computer running this light, im driving on what.? dirt, ice, dry pavement what? my guess, wild. is car is in 4wd. and you are not on ice or dirt and its stuck, Part time 4wd is for dirt or ice only and will stick. drive to dirt, or jack up 1 wheel and shift in to 2H. fixed now? light out? answering for PT 4wd . not came new with NV231 or 241 and both are part time 4wd, now AWD. ever read this. http://www.rubicon-trail.com/4WD101/driveline-bind.html dont do that, posted 100s of time here.

Did you replace the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter? This code is set by the rear O2 sensor. It usually indicates early failure or restricted catalytic converter. May want to have an exhaust back pressure test performed.

Clutch switch keeps it from cranking. You can bypass the cluctch switch. Make double sure transmission is in neutral. On many jeeps, under the hood is fuse/relay box. One of the relays is the starter motor. Pull the relay. With a pair of pliers, take a paper clip and short the pins that go to starter. They wire can get hot. If the starter cranks, you might be right (see ignition switch and any interlocks - like clutch switch), if the starter doesn't crank, get a new starter.

2095 ( a jeep factory code that is , jeep only) reset. like all cars , you can reset any code, with any scan tool but if the failure is real and present it will NOT. that is its purpose to report real failures. is this the 3.8Liter v6 , like mine is? DOWNSTREAM FUEL TRIM SYSTEM 1 LEAN down means not the front sensor. engine >>>>Up >>>>CAT >>>> down?>>>>> tail pipe end. this is an air leak (crack) behind the cat converter or the sensor is bad, (down stream.) or wires fell off, (common) LOOK FIRST.see damage there?

If the Clutch switch is bad it wont let it turn over at all.
