Hand tools Ratchets,sockets & a couple wrenches & lots of really long extensions & swivel sockets Air tools would really help,impact sockets Mostly metric tools, maybe some fractional ones as you get to clamps & such near the muffer

This model has a distributer , it uses standard pick up coil and has an eight pointed rotor. Underneath the main distributer rotor.

The parking brake may not release automatically due to a failed vacuum switch or actuator. Our technicians tell us that if vacuum is supplied to the actuator when the transmission is in gear, the vacuum switch is functioning and replacing the actuator should correct this concern.

Thjese are kind of tricky systems #1 if someone has slammed the trunk closed this can break the motor drive transmission housing it is plastic #2 this system uses a limit switch so as the motor rises from being open it stops at the top and clicks the reversing switch then when it closes it latches against the pressure switch that starts the motion. ALL THESE SWITCHES ARE OBSOLETE only can get used but used on Oldsmobile (land yacht) 98 and cameros,firebirds hatch backs.

If the bearings are bad then the brushes and other parts will be worn as well. It is better to replace the entire alternator. Unless you have the knowledge to rebuild it. The parts are as much as a re-manufacterd alternator if you replace the regulator and diod trio along with the heat sinks.

A lot of times they wire it in with the radio or dome lights the best way is to look at each fuse under the dash since they don't label them.
