Replaced fuel pump and it keeps popping out why?2003 jeep wrangler

Does it lose power under acceleration? When you changed the pump did you change the strainer also? You should change the fuel filter if you have not done so. The other thing to check would be the fuel pressure regulator.

CHECK ENGINE CAME ON IN MY 2003 JEEP WRANGLER 4.0

The starter is malfunction at this time. it could also be a ignition issue as well. here is a quick starter test procedure that will help you troubleshoot a bit.Step 1Check for 12 volts on the large wire attached to the top terminal on the starter relay. It should have battery voltage. If not, the battery, terminals or wire is bad.Step 2Check the small wire on the solenoid for power when the key is in the start position. Remove the small wire on the solenoid and have a helper hold the key in the start position. Check the wire for battery voltage. If there is voltage, the starter is bad. If there is no voltage, replace the wire.Step 3Check the fuse in the fuse box under the hood on the left fender well. If it is good, check the relay by pulling it out and checking for power at one terminal with the key off. If there is no power, the problem is in the fuse box between the fuse and the relay. If there is power, have the helper hold the key in the start position once again and check for power at another terminal from the ignition key. If there is power, the relay is bad. If there is no power, the starter circuit is suspect.Step 4Check to see if there is power to the neutral safety switch if there is no power at the relay. Use the voltmeter to check for power with the key in start. If there is power going in, check for power going out. If there is no power going in, the security system or ignition switch is suspect. If there is power going in and none coming out, the switch is bad. If there is power coming out, the problem is between the neutral switch and the relay.Step 5Remove the cover on the bottom of the steering column. Check the solid yellow wire for power when the key is in the start position. If there is no power, the ignition switch is bad.

2003 jeep wrangler temp guage keeps going up and

It sounds like you need a new thermostat. Have a trusted mechanic replace your thermostat, shouldn't cost more than $20-30. The thermostat is located in your thermostat housing on the engine and is connected to the Upper Radiator Hose. Remove the 2 bolts and change the thermostat. Want to know how to install body lift on a 2003

The body lift is included to ensure the larger tires can cycle through the full range of suspension movements without touching anything. The nice thing is that lifting a Jeep Wrangler (TJ) is easily done in stages:- A 1 inch body lift will allow you to easily clear a slightly larger tire than stock, very inexpensively- A 2 inch suspension lift would allow another tire-size upgrade, and increase ground clearance as dollars allowIn the end, a 1" body lift, combined with a 2" or 3" suspension lift will allow you to fit a 33" tire under these Jeeps. This not only increases your actual ground clearnace under the axle by almost 3 inches, but those new springs will flex a lot better than the old ones, so your Jeep will be much more capable offroad.Combine this simple lifting strategy with aggressive fender trimming, and you could stuff 35" tires under that rig of yours - that would be good for almost 4 inches of extra clearance (over stock) under the axles - but you'd want to look at upgrading those axles if you're going with a tire over 33".Other Lift Considerations... running out and slapping on some pucks under your body tub might sound easy, but there is a bunch to consider before the wrenches start flying:* Get replacement bolts ready - the old rusty ones will be tough to get out and you'll want new ones to install* Make sure you use actual body lift components - some areas will not allow a Jeep equipped with hockey pucks as body mounts to pass inspections - don't laugh, it happenes every day* Be ready to lengthen wires and control linkages as needed - going up 1 inch shouldn't pose a problem, any higher might. You'll need to fabricate longer shifter and t-case handles, and watch for any other items which need lengthening.* DO NOT run a body lift any higher than 3 inches - even that's a bit much. All you are doing it raising the centre of gravity and rather than the lift blocks supporting the mass of the body (and you) vertially, the bolts now must carry the weight through the turns. Think of it - does it seem safe to have 6, 1/2" or so bolts holding roughly 2500 lbs worth of body tub and humans in place? Keep it to 1 inch if at all possible.Don't forget, if you raise the suspension, you'll need to install longer trac bars to locate the axles and adjust or replace steering components to keep the angles of steering-related items within specs. A full, complete kit, will have everything you need. Be sure to double and triple check those trac-bars - there's two in TJ Wranglers - one for each axle. Their job is to located the axle under the Jeep - if you hear a clunking noise after the install, chances are the mounting or location bolts/nuts are loose. In general, these nuts/bolts cannot be tight enough. Re-check them periodically and after every two or three trail rides. As with any suspension changes, go get an alignment when you're done.Visit this link to know details about 2003 JEEP WRANGLER TJ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BODY LIFT KITHope this helps (remember to rate and comment this answer).

I just bought a 2003

Okay fine here is what they have missed.Did they scope the coil. Did they identify a coil limiter as it ramp on the scope. They need to do that ,why simple coil are heavy amps it takes out ECM when they didnt find it. Valve job is not the problem why they did that I dont know (warranty money I think). Heres how you help them what cylinder did the misfire occur at. lets say 3 . Now ask is it a lean misfire if it is. repair the vacuum leak at the Map sensor that will cause a misfire. That is if it is 4.0 engine or 2.0. What gets me is do they use the first pulse sensor and are they capable of using diagnostic equiptment. come on 2003 Ask them is it a lean misfire and what are the kv and let me know me and you will fix it that is if you want it. Give me the data stream warranty pays what do they got to hide

My 97 Jeep wrangler 2.5

I seriously wonder why Jeep used that engine at all. We have several Jeeps here and the only one I hear nearly every week about power and hill climbing problems is the one with the 4cyl. (same year as yours).
Adding a taller tire is definitely not a plus. No idea what your gear ratio is but lets say you have 3:73's...with a tire two inches taller, the actual final ratio is around 3:23. Put the small engine up against it and you have about as much grade or hill climbing ability as a ride on mower!
There are three practical ways of getting back some performance. The first is simply putting a lower tire on it. Second would be to replace the stock camshaft with one with a better torque curve, perhaps adding headers and an aftermarket intake system as well. Third would be to change both gear sets to something in a 4 series (expensive). Then, you have two even more expensive options: Put a 4.0 engine and all that goes with it into the vehicle or start playing with turbocharging.(you really need to know what you're doing to do that right).
Your last option is regardless of how much you like your Jeep, sell it and get one with a 4,0 already installed!!!
