I have a 2005 saturn
You will need to vent the amps. They get very hot. Try to never cover and keep amps clear of anything.

I need to change the
The spark plugs are in the center on the top of the engine. You will need to twist the plug wire as you pull it to get it off. then yhou will need a long extension for the plug socket with a rubber insert to hold the plug. Make sure to mark the wires so they get put back on the same plug.

I have a 2005 Saturn
I suggest looking in your owners manual for resetting gauges. I know on a friends honda he had to leave the key in for 10 minutes unattended in the on position and then turn it over and put the car in reverse. Also if you have installed anything aftermarket dealing with electronics this could have upset the security system. The most common cause is a cd player.
Hope this helps.

In todays 2000 and above you are supposed to disconnect then charge the battery, Oh well acces the fuse box and ck to see if any fuse has blown out. Make sure terminal are tight and drive it at part throttle with a/c on see if that will bring the drive parameters back.

Try this; get the car in an area that is as dark as possible, open the hood and let it idle.
Allowing several minutes for your eyes to adjust to the dark, look for any sparks around the ignition wiring.
My Saturn (now junked-too many problems) needed all plug wires replaced in under 3 years.

Car won't start when it's cold
The ignition switch is bad. I had mine replaced. Saturn found 2 error codes that came up. You can also use a hair dryer I was told and warm up the switch. I hope this helped.

Can my 2005 Saturn ion
Yes you can use E10 fuel in your Saturn Ion. A lot of gas these days has about 10% ethanol in it, the only thing you want to watch for is that the E10 fuel meets the minimum octane for your vehicle which is 87.

My drivers side turn signal stoped working. I
You are going to have to check wiring. Many it is the socket. If you have a test light or meter you can measure the voltage.
There are several turn signal lights, front, rear, side, etc. Do any of them work on the drivers side? if not then it may be the column switch. If only one light is out, then it will be wiring somewhere. Chasing wiring problems is as hard as chasing hydraulic problems, requires patience and starting at one end and continuing till you find the problem.
Good luck, Jim

My Saturn ion 04 coolant
You have a sensor in the engine that reads the coolant level. Try to unplug it and hook it back up to reset it. You could also take the hot side battery terminal off to reset it as well. If it remains on, it might need replaced. It will not hurt anything by staying on.

When the weather is very
It is normal for batteries to lose a good deal of their power due to cold temperatures. If you want better starting power, try using a battery charger/maintainer overnight. It should charge at no more than 2 amps. The slow trickle charging overnight will charge and warm up the battery and allow it to develop full power for a cold morning start.

2005 saturn ion won't start, no clicking sound,
Mine (an '04 Ion sedan) has an issue with it's anti-theft computer programming, in where it will occasionally (maybe once every three weeks) not want to start. What is happening is that the computer is thinking that someone is attempting to steal the car (even though the factory key is being used), and disables the ignition for ten minutes. What I typically do is just turn the key all the way off, and sit until the radio clicks off (exactly 10 minutes), at which point I try again and it starts right up.
It's pretty annoying, but, to my knowledge, the only fix is to get a new computer, and while it's a pain in the ***, it's not worth $600+ to remedy.
This is also a relatively common issue in '98-'02 era Chevrolet Malibus, as well as some other GM cars of that time.
