If you can spell it you can find it :>D YouTube is for videos, not for finding fuse box data. The Radio is listed as 'Audio' and has 2 fuses. BUT, did you disconnect the battery recently? It the 'radio' asking for the code?

First, on the rear hatch, there is an actuator. On FX, when you close the trunk, it kind of **** the hatch closed all the way. When you press lock on the remote, this same actuator locks it as well.
Now,
1) when you unlock the car from the inside, go back there and press the button to open the hatch door manually, do you here any noises?
2) Close all doors, go back close to the hatch button and using the remote , lock the car and then unlock the car. you should hear a sound from the actuator locking and unlocking the lock on the rear hatch!

If you don't hear this, your actuator is inop.
Next step would be to check the fuses inside the car, on the left bottom driver side, and outside on the battery compartment.
It might be just a fuse.
If all fuses check ok, your actuator is most likely gone! Not ea expensive fix, just time consuming!

NOW, if you can hear the noises, then something is either broken inside the actuator or one of the cables is loose!

You are in luck. It is located on the Bell Housing in the front of the engine, so it is easy to get to. Held on by one 10mm bolt.

Usually a defective drive belt in the CD player that couples the motor to the disk shaft. It's almost always a pain to replace it so I recommend finding a tech that knows how to change it. Sometimes you can buy a replacement cheaper than paying to fix it. The Crutchfield company has very capable techs that can recommend a replacement for your player.

Does it feel like a misfire?

You have a belt that is loose and needs to be tightened or you have a belt that is worn and needs to be replaced

From my best recollection, there is no fuel filter on this vehicle.

There are two. One at the rear of each cylinder head.

remove the trim from the window frame to access the fasteners

2004 Infiniti FX35 dash board may be mfg issue for Infiniti and you may look to them to solve the problem. I had the problem and they covered the dash part at 100%. I had to pay labor. Wound up at about $200. I had 84,000 miles on the car and outside warranty by over 15 months. Tells me they recognize an issue and will stand behind it. Be pleasant at dealer but insist they request support.

Ok we have had this problem on the hatch of our 2003 FX35 and are about to return to the dealer for the 3rd time in just a matter of months! They have ordered and replaced the part both times. So is there any suggestions on how to get this resolved? We live about 60 miles from the closest dealer and it's getting beyond frustrating!
