Abs light on in land rover
Hi,
In Td5 circles this problem is known as 'the 3 amigos' !
One of the causes is a faulty abs sensor, the abs sensors let the ecu know what 'speed' each wheel is doing and thus control the abs, hd & tc.
Check that the wires to each have not been damaged and that the plugs are firmly in as apart from 'off road' damage it is possible that something happened when the brakes were getting worked on.
Another cause can be the wheel bearings....
If there is nothing obvious then get it plugged in as said in previous answer and this will tell you which wheel is giving the problem.
Hope this helps,
Iain
How can I fix my windows ?
The rattle will be loose screws/bolts in the linkages and maybe the regulator needs to be changed.
Remove the door trim and inspect everything. Tighten all bolts you can reach. Spray all of the points that can rattle with white lithium grease Test the window lifts before replacing the trim.
Attaching towball to towing tongue
It always goes under the nut as it is intended to stop the nut unscrewing. Anyone who has got it against the tow ball has got it wrong.
Windows are loose, how do I fix
Power windows operate by a motor that lifts or lowers the glass panel. Once the motor jumps the track, it's time to replace the entire motor assembly.....you'll have to remove the interior door panels, usually screws and pop in type barbs glued to the door panels. It's not hard, but it does take some patience....

I have a 2003 Disco and it is doing the same thing!! it would go off if I placed the truck in park and turn off the engine. It now stays on and the transmission is slow to start, kind of sluggish but runs fine. Any further findings on a correction?
Location of brake light switch fault on 2002 discovery freelander
The brake light switch is on top of brake pedal arm. Check your bulbs, and connections to the rear lights (unplug harnesses and clean the connectors as well as bulb(s) etc... )
Also, it (shouldn't) be the brake light switch if you can shift out of park. Good luck.
Could it be from oil cooler
Sounds like a broken head gasket, or water pump seal. If water is in exhaust it is most likely the water pump.
