I can't find the location of the crankshaft

My online Sonata manual shows these possibilities, but does not identify which applies specifically to 2000 Sonata.
Also, when you talk to the dealership parts counter, you'll need to know whether your 2000 Sonata is (a) 4-cylinder 2.4L MFI DOHC engine, or (b) 6-cylinder 2.5L MFI DOHC engine.
Its easy to tell - just count your spark plug wires.

there's a switch under your dash hooked up to your brake peddle

Fan belt in 2004 Sonata is squeaking and they keep

first check main crank shaft pulley or the harmonic balance pulley to see if it's rubber has become un vulcanized and moves on the pulley this will cause the belt alignment issue and breaking problem

The passenger side and rear power windows don't

Two things can do this. Lock out button is stuck, or button at window has trash in it. They all can be taken a part an cleaned or replaced.

engine lights are also for the transmission
run the fault codes and then fix what is wrong

Hyundai sonata 2000 gls. v6. HAs no EGR.

Borrow or change the MAF completely,you have a LEAN combustion condition.The MAF could very well be the problem as it is the most common source lean combustion.
You will need a catalytic converter in good shape.
