Loosing a lot of oil is no good. if it has a very "strong " smell and is light in color it is coming from the gearbox. I suspect there is a problem whit the CV joints (the loud clicking noise when turning) and it has gone so bad in might cause the gearbox oil to start leaking. The shaking is also not a good sign. Expensive repairs unfortunately but need to be done immediately. Can loose a driveshaft causing more damage.

If the regulator has a vacuum line to the back of it ,check that the line is operational. A good fuel flow before the pump indicates that the pump is moving volume but when a restriction is added ( regulator ) it may be passing the fuel back past the gears in the pump. have a fuel pressure test done on the fuel manifold . If it is excessive then there is a problem in the regulator. However if it is low then the problem may be in the pump.

Black smoke means that it has gotten too much fuel from the intake. That is a sign that either the timing or valves are having issues. It could also be that the crank sensor is failing. The sensor controls the pulses to the ignition. There is also a cam sensor that might be having issues. It is curious that it is happening at idle. One of the causes could be heat.

I would check and scan codes,if no codes,could be coil,or crankk sensor

I would say you never checked to see if the battery is any goodI most likely is dead or below 12.6 volts & you never jump a deadbattery,you try charging it Jumping is not charging a battery,you need to own a battery chargerIf the battery keeps draining or won't hold a charge you needa new one,then if the problem exists you have someone do aParasitic Current Test to find out which circuit is staying on
