My infiniti QX4 fail at
Does the starter engage but the engine doesn't start? Have you had the systems computer tested for fault codes? These are basic tests that must be done to start the diagnostics to repair this problem, being that it is intermittent. Have you replaced the ignition starter switch? The switches they use in this car a re prone to this type of problem, the switch is the one the ignition lock cylinder operates to power up the car.

Service engine light on my
The Service Engine Light means, time for an oil change and other regular maintainance items like engine air filter, check all other fluids, lube chassis, it's a reminder to take care of your car. When the maintainence is done, then you or whoever works on it resets the light, and it will come on again at the next proper interval. Every 3000 miles or 3 months whichever comes first is the standard.
Take good care of your car, it will cost you a bit, but your car will be happy and it will take good care of you. Neglect your car, it'll cost you much much more and you'll be sorry.

My dashlights and console display
Hi!!
Some times, inadvertently, we move the Instrument Panel Dimmer Switch, it is located to the left of the steering wheel, on the Instrument Panel, it is the switch used to turn on/off the the overhead lights. If the switch is OK, then check the Instrument Cluster Lights or Instrument Cluster Illumination Fuse, located on the Under Dash Fuse Block. The fuse may be under a different name, but it will be some thing related to the Instrument Panel Lights.
If this do not fix the problem or you can not find the fuse(s), I will need your vehicle's year and model to give you a more specific answer.
Good Luck!!

I locked my door but
It's probably an anti theft lockout device that disables the ignition and /or starter. I would say there's no way to reset it without going through a dealer. If you have a key fob that unlocks the doors electronically you might try using that. Or try locking the open door then closing it and unlocking it again then getting in and trying to start it. Try all kinds of combos but I'll tell you...replacing batteries, fuel pumps, things like that will just be a waste of money. Try all those little combinations of locking and unlocking the car, if none work...call an Infiniti dealer. I know it stinks but with a car stolen every few seconds it's really for your protection. Good luck.

I have an Infiniti QX4
Friend,
Since you know so much, you would also know how to bleed the brakes. The brakes need to be bled and the pressure on the brake shoes/pads released so that they get loosened and removed form the drums. All four wheels have to be bled.

How do I remove the
Hi! You will need to take the front grill off and side clearance lamps to gain access to the bolts of the headlight. The bolt size will be 10mm. so you will need a 10mm. socket. The side lamps may need to slide forward to be detached on the headlights. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

Dashboard light coming on after head gasket was fixed
You must read the codes to find out what it is. Get the manual 17 bucks autozone. Then read the codes and look up problem. The manual will tell you exactly how to read the codes, its real simple, you can do this. My guess is that there is a vacum leak. A simple test is to start the engine and spray a little intake manifold cleaner near different areas of the engine. listen carfully should you hear a change in rpm you have found the leak good luck.

QX4 sounds like a cow
It does indeed have four one on each side below the exhaust manifolds, and then two underneath the vehicle on the the exhaust tube. The color of the wire will indicate which bank it is. Generally they will be Red, White, Black and Blue. You will be looking directly at the manifolds and the exahaust tube around the catalytic converters. just look for the colored woven type wires and you'll know that's them.

The gas pedal sticks and
I dont know if you've found any solutions, my car did the same thing. I was told that it is a build up of gunk that forms over time. The dealer cleaned out this area when I got it tuned up. Sorry I can't tell you where this gunk is but after the tune up it was not a problem.

2 things. i do not
for the first probleme you wil needed a test ligth 12 volts you buy at the auto part store for less than $15 . now look at your fuse and relay box under hood first look for low or hi beam hl on the cover of the fuse box .if there is noting on it, lok for open circuit at evry fuses fisrt and those that have moore than 15 amperes. if you find nothing on the fuse box (blow fuse) go in car under the dash board and find the second fuse box and do the same test if nothing find chek the bulbs itself or the head light suitches at the colum steering

2001 Infiniti QX4 low beam bulb replacement instructions
Look directly behind the headlight box if there is a rubber sleave covering the plug take it off. Unplug the wires from the bulb, there may be a saftey clip you will have to pry up to get it off.after you get the plug off the bulb holder should twist counterclockwise then it will pull right off. When you change the bulb just remember to wipe your body oil off the bulb before attaching it back into the headlight box. Then plug it back in and your in business. The high beam has three wires and the low beam has two wires. The bulb will have to be the right one.
God Bless You Greg
