2005 Infiniti G35 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I would like to find
If the radio is not correctly working or does not start at all, check the following fuse:
• In the passenger compartment fuse box - Fuse number 6 which is a 10 Amp fuse
• In the engine compartment - check fuse box number one. In it, there will be fuse number 37, a 15 Amp fuse, replace it.
To know more about all the fuses in your car and what each does, follow this link: https://knigaproavto.ru/shemy/en/infiniti/g-series/865-2002-2007-infiniti-g35-fuse-box-diagram.html

I just replaced both belts on my 2005 Infiniti
Are pulleys, adjuster/tension wheels and belts clean, as oil contamination can cause slip on well adjusted belts, not to mention degrade your belts much quicker.
clean them all up good and try some belt slip spray if needed, should remove any residual and let them settle down.
Dash backlight dead
Yea sounds like a fuse to me.... generally fuses also protect your computer so all should be good there...check all your earths to make sure there is good contact to body of car or battery
Why does the motor draggs when trying to start
I'm assuming you are referring to slow cranking of the engine when starting. Three issues can cause this that are simple. The first and least likely is very high compression. The second is your starter motor is failing, the third and most likely is your battery is either beginning to fail, or your charging system is not fully charging the battery. Clean your battery posts, and start your engine with a voltmeter, check the voltage at the battery. It should read 13.5 or above. If not your issue is the alternator. If so, then shut down the engine and check the battery voltage, it should be around 12.5 or above. If not your battery is shot. If so, take your vehicle to a shop and ask them to check the cranking amperage of the battery.
If the battery and charging system are good then it is probably the starter.
Notice that I mentioned to clean the battery posts. This is very important. Many times bad connections thete can cause the entire issue.
Which fuse will get the clock hands moving again in my 2005 Infiniti G35?
There will not be a fuse that is isolated only to the clock. If the clock is the only item that is not working the problem with the clock will not be fixed by replacing a fuse. The back light on the clock is working so you are getting power to the clock itself.(In any event the fuse locations for various functions are covered in your owners manual. If you don't have one then get on to one of the G35 forums and offer to buy one. It's important to have the details of where all the fuses and relays are for various functions.)
