What is the fuse number for a 2003 s type jaguar airbag

The airbag system does not depend on a fuse, the power come directly off the ECM, the battery MUST be disconnected when working on the airbag system. The only fuse involved in part of this system is fuse #5 in the passenger compartment fuse box. It should be a 10 AMP mini fuse, red in color and that just protects the occupancy sensor and the passenger airbag de-activation lamp.

My 02 VW 1.8T immoblizer light came on. Neither key will work. Is there anything I should try before I tow it to the dealership?

Try disconnecting both battery terminals and touching them together. This will drain any power remaining in the system and can sometimes help reset any crashed ECUs. Reconnect both terminals and attempt a restart. Also, make absolutely sure that you have no other car keys or RFID tags on your keyring. These can interfere with your vehicle's immobilizer system and render it useless. If you have tried this and if it doesn't resolve the issue then you may have an issue with the ignition switch pickup coil which reads the RFID signals in your keys.

Why is battery light still on after replacing alternator

charge lights work from a current flow either from the battery to the alternator or from the alternator to the battery. the opposing current flows will put the light out when each unit has the same voltage . So if the light is still on after the alternator has been replaced there are 2 checks to do . Check that the alternator is in fact charging correctly (dc voltage as well as 14 volts and next check is to see if the battery is any good and that the terminals are clean and tight. Best have it checked out at an accredited auto electrical shop.

Have a oil leak , got my oil changed last Monday ,

It's either leaking around the oil pan plug (which is either loose or over-tightened and stripped out) or it's leaking around the oil filter. It's not uncommon for the gasket from the old filter to stick to the engine block and not allow the new filter to snug up tight.
