I want to flush the coolant on a 2003 Kia Optima
Coolant capacity
is 7.7 qts./7.3 liters, for a 2.4 liter 2003 Kia Optima.
You will not be able to get all the coolant out of the engine, unless you do a thorough engine drain and flush. If you only plan on draining the radiator, you will need less than 2 gallons mixed total to refill it, since some coolant will remain in the engine block and heater core.
Automatic transmission wont shift out of third gear
The transmission control module is responsible for correct shifting of transmission.it is on side of tranny.
the throttle position sensor takes all the necessary measurements and sends it over to the Electronic Control Module on transmission to make it shift, if its ok! Try by changing the shift module on transmission. If this will not work check or change the TPS and check for a bad wire also. Hope this helps you out! God-Bless!

normally this would be noticed by bad performance in the car in the way the engine acts when you push on the gas peddle normally a fuel pump needs two things to work the relay and the fuse if either two stops working you may notice decreased performance of the car's engine or that it refuses to run at all
