you may find that the cooling fans only run at half speed when the a/c is on they might be set that way & run at full speed when the engine starts to overheat (in stop & go traffic) the a/c may need regassing that's why it is not cooling properly.....hope this helps...... cheers..

I am suprised that a mechanic told you it might be the battery. Remember this in the future: If the battery is strong enough to turn an engine over, it is strong enough to do every other possible thing you could throw at it in a car. It takes several amps to turn that starter. It only takes a couple at the most to run that other stuff you mentioned. ' Chances are, you have an issue at the fuse box. All of these separate problems have the commonality of going through this box. Have this check out for any abnormalities (looseness, hot connections, etc.)

Could be the blower motor resister,it's located by blower motor,2 screws hold it on,easy to remove,click here to see part.

Transmission fluid in the power steering is definantly not reccomended, i would flush the power steering ASAP before even driving it or you will most likely be looking at another rack and pinion :(

The light can take up to 100 miles of varied driving to go off. If after a week lets say it is still on the problem is not fixed.

Under the car at the back of the radiator side tank is a drain valve.
