parts store where you buy the belt can printout a diagram for you..this usually takes a few pages..

If you didn't fix the underlying engine problem that killed the first cat, then it will just continue to kill cats

The fuel pump of the KIA sportage mentioning is new and the fuel filter and yet the vehicle will start instantly but the acceleration is not picking and firing, pls what could cause this problem?

ITS NOT NECESSARY TO BE THE BATTERY CHECK ALTERNATOR IF ITS CHARGING OR NOT BY CHECK VOLTAGE BY VOLT METER IF IT SHOWS MORE THEN 12 V WHEN THE ENGINE RUNNING ALTERNATOR IS OK IF NOT REPLACE OR REPAIR IT. AND ALSO YOU CAN REMOVE BATTERY CABLE IF ENGINE OFF ALTERNATOR IS NOT OK.

Have you tried different cd's?I f so then the loading tray may be at fault.If you don't want to fix it here is a solution.Buy a cassette adapter with a 3.5 mm connector and use a mp3 player you can transfer your cd collection to your mp3 player via you computer

When you disconnected the battery you essentially cleared the stored codes, Some codes cannot be cleared by this method, I would have it checked out, usually if the light is flashing it is a major problem and needs to be fixed

the "rattle" will be detonation caused by spontaneous combustion from incorrect air/fuel ratio and incorrect ignition timing it is most prominent under acceleration or under load ( up hills , high speeds etc) and will melt pistons if left unattended run the fault codes to find the faulty sensors , but I suspect that the heated oxygen sensors(HO2S) in the exhaust manifolds before the cat converters will be at fault as they report the gas composition back to the ECM so that the mixture can be adjusted correctly ( indicated by the poor economy) there are knock sensors on the block which are indicated as faulty as they should be reporting this condition to the ECM to adjust the settings finally it could come down to low fuel pressure or faulty injectors what ever it is you need to get a proper fault code reading and have the problem fixed asap as it will cause engine damage if not fixed

No, should not affect the power windows. Something else made them stop working. If no windows work at all, could be a fuse for them is bad. If fuse is good (some vehicles use a circuit breaker rather than a fuse), then you need to start testing at the master power window switch, which is the window switch on the driver's door.

may be a cheap aftermarket sensor get a kia brand one it may have to be programmed to read it .

I am assuming this is a manual shift. Have you checked the fluid level in trans? Tried draining and replacing fluid? Checked clutch adjustment?

It says to add brake fluid to clutch master cylinder.

Vanessa, Pep Boys, Autozone, some NAPA's may be able to turn code off for free or any other garage may charge a small fee. Make sure you write down all codes, before erasing for diagnosing purposes. Battery Disconnect or Replacement Problems

If the hazard switch is in the dash, replace it. if it is in the column, replace the turn signal switch. They are built in together. Check fuses first.
