I recently tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my jcb 3cx site-master. It would'nt move forward or reverse, engine was good both solenoids for forward and reverse worked, but still couldn't diagnose the problem.
I don't have much technical knowledge but I just followed it step-wise, and now it works perfect! covers wiring, diagrams, torque specs, PCV, everything

need to determine if its a vacuum unit or electric motor, vacuum unit it will be a leak on the feed or the expansion valve leaking. electric. motor weak or the threads on the adjustor warm. and some have an updated version electric. is a all in one adjuster plastic. there are switches inside the housing, theses can become damaged and the unit needs replacing.
Cn i use regular unleaded gas in my Porsche Cayenne?
The higher octane is less prone to detonate during the compression and the computer can advance the timing to take advantage of this. If you use a lower octane than recommended the knock sensors will detect any premature detonation and the computer will reduce the timing to account for the earlier detonation. ie a bit less performance.
