Heater fan goes on and off when it wants to no control
My fan did this on my 2000 saturn L 200.
If you are handy with a screwdriver and nut driver , the problem I found was the black power wire coming from the main wiring harness to the plastic wire housing going to the back of the heater control module was loose, due to overheating of the wire . I simply bypassed it, installing a jumper past the harness to the control unit wire, keeping black to black. Works great !!! Good luck !
AC compressor does not come on
too many possibilities my friend, low Freon, compressor clutch locked up, pressure switch failure, system contamination, most shops offer a free system check, find one and see what they say after hooking up their gauges.

What's wrong? Will the Parking brake engage? Or is it not working at all?
2002 saturn L200 2.2L thermostat location
Facing the engine, It's on the back right , under the radiator hose. Look for where the hose is clamped to the engine, once you remove the hose, it's under the round tube that the hose was clamped to. Two bolts off, and there it is. Make darn sure that the spring side of the thermostat faces down ,when you put the new one in. Also make sure the engine is full of coolant before you put the new thermostat on, too.

Do I need to replace head bolts on my 2003 Saturn l200
Head bolts are typically a Torque Angle to Yield specification, an example 100NM plus 75 to 100 Degrees of angle. You should be able to reuse the bolts, assuming that they have not been reused before. The bolts are plastically deformed when they go into yield, typically you can reuse them 1 to 2 more times. It is stated in the service manual to replace the bolts because it is never known how many times in the past they may have been retightened. So if you have a good history of the vehicle, and know that the head has not been removed, your pretty safe to reuse.
Both fans arent working, checked the fuses there fine
ceck your cooling fan relay first, if not thr realay thrn cooling fan switch which is usually in the block. best odds is the relay though. relay could be under hood or under dash. you can sign up online to autozone . com. once signed up you can vue the repair manuals online, at no charge, and you can also print out the repair manual pages, to help you locate the relay placement, it should show you where it's at.
