New battery but 1990 eagle talon won't start
Theres so many things that can cause a car not to start, can you smell petrol after trying to start? if so start with checking the spark side of things, if you dont smell gas find the fuel filter and follow the fuel hose to the fuel rail and squeeze the hose while some one turns the ignition on without starting. You should feel the hose expand when the ignition is turned to the on position, if it does then the fuel pump is doing its job. Like i said it could be alot of things but this is a good place to start. Is it multi coil set up?

I hope this helps? Are you missing anything else? Engine cranking you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? Any applicable trouble codes? Battery has a full charge? See load side of mfi relay, that line with arrow head, with key on, good voltage at upper wire? If so, if you use a jumper wire between proper wire colors, the pump should run.

They slide off, but usually they are rusted to the hub. The stock rotors have two screw holes in the middle that are there so you can use a bolt to push the rotor off (find two that fit, slowly tighten down back and forth between the two bolts). If there aren't any holes, you'll have to hammer them off, or at least break the rust free. Use a scrap 2x4 to prevent damage to the rotor. If you have a large enough gear puller, try that.

you need to check the wires on the alternator make sure they are properly connected same with the battery and also check the fuse for the alernater and fuse for battery the battery is not getting charged alternator is the problem check these see if fixes it make sure wires to battery alternator are not spliced damaged

Sounds like you have a problem in the Overdrive sensor or the lockup in the converter. You should see if a scanner will identify this problem. Ask at the autoparts store about "What they show for an Overdrive switch or Servo?". Autozone, Advance, and Oreillys do free scans.Check your transmission fluid as the trans works hard in top gear with pressure directly driving the tallest gear in the trans. Low fluid levels could be causing the converter to kick out of Lockup.

if you mean your getting spark to coil but not at plug your coil is either faulty or your plug wire is faulty

So the belt broke and the engine has crunched the valves - OUCH
Just try the dealers to see if you can even get the parts you need - then consider a complete engine rebuild - garage, winch, workbench, testing tools ,et.c etc.
What else is worn out on a 21 year old car?
When you get figures of $2000+ appearing you might consider a change of car - unless you are a good mechanic and can get parts and help - if you are asking hewre it doesn't seem like you are.
Consider saving money by buying a more modern more fuel efficient car - you could save money in the long run.

That means the alternator is bad and needs to be replaced. The alternator charges the battery up to about 13.7 vdc. But check the wiring on the alt. first. There is a large wire that hooks to the alt. That wire should have the same voltage as the battery does. If that wire is right you need a new alt.

Glazing on the clutch facing will cause your problem. Replacing the clutch will get it back to normal
