its a GEO POPPER."no oil up on crank case" no idea what that means.??????yes PCV valve. do clog.white smoke at end if tail pipe.you didnt say where,?white smoke has 2 reasons.(tail end)Steam and oil.steam goes away fast and looks just like moms tea pot. and smells sweet, like the antifreeze in engine. (rad cap off ,sniff sniff, cold engine)oil burning, smoke is very very slow to go away.and smells like , blush burned oil.if not sure what burn oil looks like or smells liketake out the dip stick on a hot enginelet it drip to the hot exhaust manifold there.now you know. and is a key diagnostic skill.no oil seen on dip stick end?, you mean that?well you need to keep that from happening,doing weekly service, and for sure old cars.26 years old.low oil invites blowing up a good engine.for sure.if it did that smoke is oilif it did 10x worse, both .my wild guess is you meant to sayI didnt see oil leaking on top of engine.right?if the engine backwires to the air cleaneryou forgot to replace the cam belt every 60k milesthe pcv will also be clogged, on cars not getting proper service, super colon.if the PCV clogs,engine may leak oil bad.this engine btw is a G10 3 cylinder.with TBI injection.we can talk TBI all day, owned one.white smoke can come from many placesexhaust manifold, leaks of oil can land thereengine can back fire to air cleaner making smoke.tail end.steam is much worse. ill not delve in to that yet/.

fuses, relay, corrosion at wire connections, ignition switch, pick up coil, ignition control module. Is the distributor rotor turning when you crank the engine? I ask this because a broken timing belt would cause a no start condition.

Check for an engine vacuum leak. Have engine codes read out at auto parts store.

mmm.. did the fuse start blowing after you did something or worked on the truck? sounds to me like there's a wire very well connected in the wrong place. I know it sounds funny, but what I mean is that a simple short would not set on fire, but instead eat the wire gradually with every spark. in order for it to catch on fire it needs to be bolted in the wrong place. the other wires can be restored after you find the wire that's causing the short.

what makes you think it has one.? or is this a wild goose chase. most 90s suzuki, any make have no relay. crude yes, but fact. i just looked, bingo, no relay, so is just a waste of my time. why not post symptoms (both dead, lows, highs and flash mode>?) dim lamps. (there is a fuse for both sides) and let me tell you how to find it in 5min works with a voltmeter. instead of this guessing game. ill guess , both head lamps dead. the fuses are blown. or both head lamps bad, yes, that happens. bad head light switch. or its connector loose car is in canada (sure, location really does matter ) and has DRL and DRL is busted. this car is really a Suzuki Swift. in fact made side by side, with 99% same parts. there are 2 real metro forums and the better swift http://www.teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=36494&hilit=head+lamps+dead there is no relay, sorry, but not. so wana fix it? or guess. a $10 voltmeter, and bingo, no more guessing. ask how to use one, its childs play. really. if one lamp is dead, swap lamps after checking fuses. or look at the bulb with eyes, see those, tungsten filaments (edison) if one is gone, it is.

It should be on the drivers side of the car, mounted to the inside of the frame rail just behind the driver seat. It will be a "can" shaped metal cylinder with small pipes sticking out both ends, and will have a bracket mounted with a bolt to the frame. This is a fuel injected system which runs under high pressure, and you should wrap rags around your wrists before removing the lines. I also recommend relieving the pressure from the fuel line under the hood prior to removing the lines from the filter. There should be something that looks like a tire valve on the fuel rail / line. Use a small screwdriver to press in the valve center, holding a rag over the end so you don't get sprayed with the gas. Hold it down until the pressure releases - this will help you keep from getting gas in the face ( it BURNS !) Hope this helps!!

fuse blew if blows again, the line is shorted. this line called, park/tail or running lights. is huge, a vast number of bubs to short or wires same. usually the fuse is marked TAIL. there are 2 fuses boxes in cars. on in cab and 1 in engine bay. the operators guide, explains this but is long lost sure.

check for a hole in the crankcase /block. Pull the coil lead out and spin the motor if it will spin. If you hard noise or the engine leaps as it is turning then consider a replacement engine.

what end, (radio side, or harness side or both, (we need a hint) no problem or plan stated. new radio or repairing previous owners hack jobs? the non stock radio side, that will take, you telling radio make brand, model and model number. drops, (you saw spark gone?)gaps? what gap, spark plugs? no new cap? with real brands, not clone junk?Finish the tuneup, then set the spark gap to spec and do not use $20 expensive, surface fire spark plugs, use regular NGK J sparks.this car is NOT HEI ! it is not.if spark, is now perfect, and the spark tips dont turn black running. do they? then it may be running lean.hot running needs this:good engine compression, not stuck open EGR main valve. (clean it)good spark timed to spec. using quality parts not clone junk.then suspect fueling last, if above is good ,its a fueling issues, (the cat is ok, if melted it would clog engine hot or cold) forget CAT.the coolant needs to hold at 180f or more (195f is nice) and not drop. the 02 sensors must work and no exhaust leaks near it. allowed.ECT shows 180F. (about 300 ohms hot< DMM meter check.s)fuel pressure at spec. near 30?

have you checked for spark.Make sure there is no moisture in the dist. cap try to use air to blow out any water that my of found its way into dist.
