Fuel safety switch location or other reasons it won't start after crash.

Generally speaking, only Ford products have a safety switch or inertia switch for the fuel system. This includes some Mazda models.I would start with the basics and check for power to the coil and the fuel pump relay.

Hyundai elantra 2000 speedometer not working

Sounds like your speed sensor has gone out. it is located on the passenger side just under the spindle/hub assembly. it is about a $40.00 part. try a local junk yard those some times help out with parts that you can get really cheap that way you can also find out if it is the speed sensor itself. Also it is just under the half shaft. it is easy to get too with the car on jack stands and the right front wheel off the car. you might have to pull the brake assembly off. Just watch how he test an check out some of his other tests on crank sensors

The cable broke on the temp control dial--can we access from engine compartment and just have it set to cold?

No, you might be able to access the blend door actuator from the glove box if you are lucky, but you will not be able to get to anything from under the hood.

Hyundai Avante (Elantra) green

a small rubber vacuum pipe connecting to the injector system / inlet manifold. Sometimes this pipe perishes and allows air to enter thus decreasing the vacuum. The engine then cuts out. It's simple to check and replace the tubing where necessary. You may also notice the engine cutting out when traveling at speed and one suddenly slows down.

2000 hyundai elantra wipers not working

Try to remember when it stopped working. Was it due to heavy snow on the windshield? Did it start making noise before dying? This can pinpoint the answer to your question. Usually it is 2 possibilities, fuse is blown or the motor is burnt. Try the fuse first. Good luck!

What could be a possiable reason my Hyundia want crank in the cold weather, but will crank fine when it's warm weather

Temperature plays a big role in electrical connections. Start with the battery cables and check them for corrosion and tightness. You may also have an issue with loose corroded connections at the starter motor itself or dirty/loose ground connections from the battery to the engine or engine to the body

How do i fix a rough idle and stall?

Hi Cody: I'd be checking all of the vacuum hoses and the PVC valve. Also it wouldn't hurt to put some fuel conditioner like SEAFOAM through it. My approach tends to be to make sure the basics are looked after before starting to second guess for major problems. Cheers.

I have a 2001 hyundia

If this is something that occured all of the sudden, unplug the vacuum hose from the vacuum booster behind the brake master cylinder. Plug the hose and see if the idle settles down. If it does, replace the brake booster. Let me know, also, what codes have been pulled?
